good mouse but

Steven F., Newegg
7 October 2014
  • Summary: Again I have not installed the software. I don't need to have macro and micro settings. I'm on Windows 7 x64. And I love this mouse so far.
  • Pros: Love the look and feel. The weights make it heavy handed but smooth fluid movement. I bough this mouse because of the low price and weighted system. I am not disappointed. Everything works. DPI settings rock. Can't beat laser. Fits well in the hand. Very comfortable. The buttons, all of them. see...
  • Cons: The only Cons for me is the two side thumb buttons are way too sensitive. All you have to do is brush over them with the lightest touch and they activate. Needs more pressure to the buttons to ensure not accidentally clicking them. A lot of ppl are complaining about the software being buggy. I ha...

An Inverted Glove

James G., Newegg
24 October 2013
  • Summary: Currently use it without a pad in a kitchen nook situation with a laptop, and it works just for me.
  • Pros: Love the weights. Like, all of them. Feels like I'm more involved in the moving of the mouse than just pawing at it.
  • Cons: Don't like the pulsing lights. The blue light is .. ok, but red, blue, or purple may not be your fantasy - I'd prefer a dull white or none, but meh - the lighting help when locating on the fly when gaming at night/dark room.

Almost too much!

Eric S., Newegg
17 October 2013
  • Summary: Great gaming mouse and will definitely recommend (already have) to multiple gaming friends. Perfectly paired with my Corsair K70 (red)
  • Pros: Adjustable DPI - up to an astounding 6000dpi Run this with my "FPS" settings as the highest and regular usage on low with random settings in between for gaming. its perfect! Hand contour is awesome if you are a claw gripper like me. Supplied software to adjust the lighting as well as the two butt...
  • Cons: 6000dpi is a con if you are not used to it.

Great mouse!

Anonymous, Newegg
20 May 2013
  • Summary: This is a really awesome one. It's really customizable, comfortable, and complete with flashy lights! It hasn't messed up once. I wouldn't buy this mouse though, if you're picky about software.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Many choices of DPI levels & can be adjusted by the mouse itself, somewhat easy to install (disk doesnt work, you can download the software via website), and works great!
  • Cons: Not a very user friendly UI.

Excellent ins many ways

CoolCAD L., Newegg
24 November 2012
  • Summary: The included software is hokey like many computer companies make it so it looks flashy or whatever. It is functional enough to configure the mouse. I have and will recommend this mouse to all of my friends.
  • Pros: Good looks Great looks Braided cord Very configurable Good texture on both the buttons and the sides [see cons]
  • Cons: My previous mouse was a MS Wheel mouse optical 1.1. I had it for more than 6 years. It was abandoned because I had worn the textured plastic smooth many times after resurfacing with abrasives. This coating is wonderful to feel. So much so that I absentmindedly damaged it through scratching with f...

Good for the money

christopher w., Newegg
5 April 2012
  • Summary: It's a good mouse for the money, the biggest problem is the sensor they used for it. Sometimes it can lose track of position and stop working, usually when you are playing a game and need it to work most, even on a good mouse surface like the one I use.
  • Pros: comfortable, accurae, software lets you do alot with the buttons.
  • Cons: sensor loses track sometimes and has to be reset, different profiles can sometimes cause teh software to lock up. Software is functional, but not quite as intuitive as it could be.

Big and accurate

Dana S., Newegg
28 February 2012
  • Summary: I have it side ny side with my 2010 imperator. Also I compared it to my G9X by logitech. and i had the g700 wireless logitech..it sucked. stay wired. any way. the 2012 razer thing is way too light, the g9x became uncomy and broke 2x.
  • Pros: Sexy looks, nice grip for xl hands and heavy, when loaded down with the weights provided. The cable is fat and sturdy. The shape provides a comfort level and the pinky relief is superb. I play BF3 with this mouse. Wow what a difference compared to all my mice. I listed them in other comments. Acc...
  • Cons: The worst driver software i have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Almost caused me to return it. The tracking sensor has an adjustment for extra accuracy or surface track, i dont remember exactly however it must be turned off. Otherwise it only worked on my desktop. It takes a bit of twe...

Senyeng V., Newegg
16 January 2012

  • Cons: 2 months after i bought this mouse the right click button would get stuck everytime i click on it.

Feature-ific

Alexander I., Newegg
3 January 2012
  • Summary: I was looking for a non-logitech mouse since mine always break. I got this to replace a Performance MX which served me well for the last couple years, hopefully this will do the trick. So far I'm very happy with it!
  • Pros: -Braided cable -Glide feet pads -Attractive -Many Features -Macro/button mapping software -They give you an extra set of pads for the bottom in case yours wear out :D
  • Cons: I've only a couple things to mention. For me, they're minor. -There is a ring/pinky finger button on the right side of the mouse that can be pressed to change the profile settings. This is a great feature, but I only use one profile and I would have liked to been able to remap that button to do s...

Great mouse for the price

Anonymous, Newegg
15 April 2011
  • Summary: You have change the dpi and scrolling globally and not individual with each mode.
  • Pros: The dpi was the reason I bought it which was overkill compared to my wireless gigabyte mouse. The software is easy to use not the best though.
  • Cons: I did not like the button assignments being the scroll wheel the mode switch button, and the two back and forward buttons.
