Summary: Smaller than my last keyboard by a good 2-3 inches, will take some getting used to. Keys are also somewhat rearranged differently, not really a pro or con though. Not a con for me, but there is no key lighting, if you are used to that sort of thing.
Pros: Works fine, no missing keys or anything like that. Build quality seems pretty good for so cheap. Volume knob is a neat little feature as well.
Cons: Backspace key is small, can take some getting used to. USB power cable is a bit on the short end as well.
Summary: I own several of these keyboards and have not had trouble with any of them. I especially like the volume knob as it makes quick sound adjustments simple and convenient. Often I find it better to use the keyboard then to fumble around which program is playing sound the loudest at the time.
Pros: Very inexpensive, Reliable, Lots of Cool Buttons
Cons: A little bulky. If you need a thinner keyboard, look elsewhere. While the function keys are awesome the ones on the left and right sides of the keyboard are a little hidden. I had to show them to people to get them to start using them.
Summary: I've owned this keyboard for almost 3.5 years now, and it's only finally just going out. Keys sometimes auto-repeat or there's a couple seconds of delay between typing and seeing something on the screen, and shortly after those symptoms crop up I have to unplug it, wait a few seconds, and then plug...
Pros: The dial makes for faster volume changes than some other methods.
Cons: Paint on the glossy plastic rubs off much more quickly than from the keys. Not a major con, but the Gigabyte logo is more of a negative than a shadow of what it used to be, and the calculator button's paint is almost completely gone. The mute button is solid black. Even some keys that I never use...
Summary: I think after going through 5 of these I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. as the price point on this is perfect but the chances of the 6th one dying on me is only a matter off time thing.
Pros: The keyboard overall is really nice. it is comfortable to type with, it doesn't have a loud key stroke and media buttons are come in handy, especially the mute button and the Volume dial.
Cons: I have been through 5 of these keyboards already. it has a habit of just dying for no apparent reason to having a drink spilled on it. it is not a very sturdy keyboard if you plan to have it as a keyboard for a general use home PC. As someone has stated here already, the wires tend to die out on ...
Summary: For the price it's a decent keyboard, but I wish I had gotten on with a different layout now. Ah well, live and learn.
Pros: Still has the print on the keys after two years of use. Good quality for the price.
Cons: The backspace key is a single width key and the forward slash/pipe key is right next to it. I constantly hit the latter while trying to hit the former. The shortcut buttons on the sides are loose and wiggle a bit.
