Pros: I bought one of these when I built my computer in December of 2011. I immediately fell in love with the volume wheel. With other volume controls, I'm always having to tap really fast, afraid of how quickly the volume shoots up if I hold a button down, but if something comes on too loud, I can swipe over to this and quiet it immediately, or if I want to turn it up, I can very quickly move it back and forth, just one or two clicks or the whole range in just a second. A ...
Cons: My online friends frequently comment on how loud this keyboard is. I've gotten used to it over time, and I sort of like the sound of typing, but it could get annoying for other game players on a voice chat.
Summary: Bought this Keyboard to Replace my Saitek Eclipse Keyboard which finally died after 11 years of solid use. This K6800 keyboard is great. Keys are a little softer to touch then my old keyboard but nothing that is causing me grief. Lots of shortcut keys on the sides which are flush with the surrounding plastic case so you won't accidentally press them. This keyboard also has a volume knob which is awesome!
Pros: Cheap Price, Good Brands, Full Keyboard, Lots of Media Buttons
Summary: Great keyboard, no regrets after purchase. Volume wheel is a great features that more keyboards should have. Gigabyte took a swing and hit the ball out of the park. Only issue I found was the function buttons can be a bit tricky to use and require a very hard press.
Pros: Economical, Ergonomic, Decent features for price, Volume wheel
Summary: It completely stopped working after a month. First a key would get stuck occasionally, then any key press would result in windows shutting down or going to sleep. Same issue on multiple computers. GigaByte support was sup-par. Wanted me to pay to ship them my broken board, then pay for them to ship me a new one back.
Pros: Not much...the price I guess, but you get what you pay for
Cons: While it was working, the key lay out was never very good. I liked the volume wheel...that's about it. The backspace key is too small, and had lots of mistypes even after using it for a month.
Pros: Keyboard is a great design in nature with all the hot buttons you can program, as well as having the Vol nob on it makes for fast and easy up and down in all types of programs like games. The look is cool and the buttons are soft and simple. Great for the small time game player.
Cons: As of yet have I found and cons, but the smaller BK space button is my only thought, but seeing that my old keyboard had it the same way I have grown to be use to it, but others may not take to it as I did.
Summary: Love the color/design/positioning of keys too much to purchase a different keyboard.
Pros: Volume knob, multimedia keys, color, design
Cons: Have a tendency to die very easily. One died out of nowhere after three weeks (only the volume knob worked), so I purchased a second one. Got a SINGLE DROP OF WATER on a key (condensation from a cup on my fingers) and it must have seeped down onto the board--instantly fried. Bought a third and this one's going strong.
