Summary: It is really hard to get excited over a keyboard, but you can determine whether you like it or love in a single use. After trying the Gigabyte K-K6800 Keyboard for just over two weeks I have come to the conclusion that I really do like this keyboard. When compared to the keyboards I have my 4 other computers the Gigabyte would come in the number two or three position.
Conclusion: Other than a couple of minor issues we had with the GK-K6800 we were pleased with the keyboard. The keystrokes were a little long for our tastes, and the buttons on the side are positioned so that we had to relearn handling the keyboard to avoid launching applications in the middle of testing. Once we got past those two minor issues we have come to like it for its functionality and multimedia capabilities.

Conclusion: When it comes to keyboards, run-of-the-mill units are a dime a dozen. However, the Gigabyte GK-K6800 bucks that trend. It looks like a million bucks, has a surprisingly tactile feel to the keys, is priced well and even comes with the little extra features which you don’t think you need until you trying going without them. Even better than its general day to day usability is the fact that it doesn’t take up a heck of a lot of room on your desk.
