Summary: I bough this keyboard for gaming, wanted a backlit and economical price. I play starcraft with this board and it is fairly new, so not too much info was out about it. I had a terrible time adjusting to gameplay as the keys sit extra low even compared to a mid level button membrane keyboard. It looks good but backlighting is too dim.Volume touch takes about 3-5 slides in order to adjust volume all the way down or up.
Pros: Economical Price with Mail in rebate (39.99), Solid Handrest construction, Extra rubbery WASD keys and remover key
Cons: Dim backlighting, Volume touch is smooth but effects volume in low increments, Keys are membrane and sit low(hard to press during games)
Conclusion: Whenever I take a new mouse or keyboard for a spin, I’m always a little bit wary, for what I’m sure are obvious reasons. Peripherals seem like a simple thing, but the fact of the matter is that you could use two keyboards that look quite similar, but feel completely different. And after having used a particular setup for a while, moving to another model is always a bit strange at first.
Pros: Quality construction – not creaky, LED backlight isn’t the brightest, but is more then sufficient., Not a mechanical design, but still feels fantastic., Bright red and yellow colors are unique., Included silicone key protector is a nice touch, as are the replacement WASD keys., USB port on each side of the keyboard., Windows key lock is useful for games that fail when a Windows key is pressed., Macros are easy to setup and execute., Price, at around ~$70.
Cons: Aesthetics are not for everyone., Misshapen macro keys are interesting, but not always ideal., User-editable macro .ini files would have been appreciated., Doesn’t quite live up to the 20 simultaneous keys promise (we found it to be 10)., Spacebar doesn’t always activate if you hit the absolute edge of the right side.
Summary: Very pleased with the functionality of the keyboard itself; the product is relatively simple, compared to other 'gaming' keyboards, but it does what it needs to, and is very sturdy and comfortable, with satisfying keystrokes. The only real problem with the product isn't with the keyboard at all, but picky buyers should take care: although the product as advertised here appears to be for the v.1 keyboard with the red lighting and subtle colouration, I actually received...
Summary: great gaming keyboard.I like aivia design that give you a feel comfort.and it have cherry mx brown key stroke and fit with special rig that take benefit when gaming and silence typing. I most like is GHOST Macro Engine to playing fighting game that make easier to make hardcore combo attack. and led backlight is red .hmm i dislike touch volume control. if slide it give no much respond only can touch but still a awesome product . i like the exotic design.
Summary: I insist that you do not buy this keyboard, I paid £45 for this keyboard, biggest waste of £45 ever, within 3 months keys started to become unresponsive, the backlight is pointless as it only displays fully on certain keys, the 2 USB ports on either side where nice and if you actually care about any of this assigning business then it has a few buttons for that.
Summary: Pros Interesting design Nice typing experience Can create up to 5 different profiles Touch volume control Backlit keys Easy to use software Plug-and-play capabilities Cons No media keys Macro buttons are stiff and out of the way Cannot customize anything outside of the five macro buttons
Cons: 1.
