The keyboard is much better quality than the English language one it has replaced

Summary: This keyboard arrived sooner than I expected. It appears brand new. I had no difficulty in setting it up both in Windows 7 and Linux, but everyone should be aware that it was not simply a matter of plugging it in and then using it for some simple changes have to made.
Summary: I use a word processor Pages on my iMac. I have started studying German and there was no easy way of writing umlauts. The Mac help line was unable to procure a QwERZ keyboard from their outlets in Germany. I found this unbelievable and went on Amazon where there was a large range of these keyboards.
Summary: As a novelist, my keyboard is very important to me and I spent a long time looking into different makes and models. I'm not disappointed with this Dell keyboard -- the keys (somewhere between regular depth and chiclet-style) are quiet, yet satisfying to type with.
Summary: A really good all round keyboard for everyone. I have used many keyboard and trust me this is one of the best I have every used which suprised me because its also one of the cheapest. I am a quick at typing and look for keyboards which are sturdy and easy to use.
Summary: A standard UK keyboard with numerical keypad to the right. The 2 USB slots are to the right of function keys (above the Insert/Home/Page Up keys). I plugged into a Win 7 machine and win 7 automatically installed the relevant drivers, as would be expected these days.

Summary: All the keys and functions seem to work fine, however, when pressing and holding a key down for a period of time (like for gaming or editing), if you're not pressing the key fully down hard it will stop registering pretty easily (I think less than 1mm of travel).
Summary: the keyboard is rather flat but you can get used to that - and I understand that it is a US layout but why do the keys for @ and" work as UK. It is most disconcerting. As a typist I was used to the @ being above the apostrophe and kept using it not noticing that is was marked as " then when I did...
Summary: I like this keyboard, especially the Multimedia controls (including a volume knob) and the 2 port USB hub that's built in. It means that you only need the single USB cable going down to the back of your PC, you can plug a wired USB mouse into the keyboard. Slight caveat - it's US key layout.
