Reviews and Problems with Das Keyboard Professional

I would get another in a blink.

Summary: I like the Das. The first one I received had a defective key, so I returned it and was sent a replacement, which has performed flawlessly in the month I've had it. I use it only for light to medium tasks like emailing and occasional letters but I know if I put heavy demands on it, the keyboard would deliver.
Summary: This keyboard is perfect for anyone hoping to use a mechanical keyboard around others. The click volume is noticeably lower than my room mates cherry reds, and the click satisfaction was identical. One small thing is that the keys on the keyboard in the first Amazon image are not at all how my keyboard came configured. The keyboard came with the standard layout as seen in the sixth Amazon image.
Elegant. Perfect for work environment. Non-gaming keyboard

Summary: Simple, attractive keyboard that fits rights in at work. You'll wonder why you didn't go mechanical earlier especially considering how many of us keyboards all day long. I went with the quiet version out of consideration for my co-workers. If I worked in a closed office, I would have gone with MX blues or browns for the switch type. Reds don't have tactile feedback and it's for that reason that they're quieter.
Summary: This keyboard is simply a pleasure to type on. I've tried other quite mechanical keyboards and have not found the manufacturer's definition of quiet to be reality. This one though rivals the membrane keyboard it replaced. The feel of the keys is nice. It's not flashy, and the built in LEDs cannot be used to guide planes in for a landing. They only thing wrong with the keyboard is now I have to try and decide if I want to buy a second one for work or not.
