Summary: Coming from an old Logitech G15 keyboard, this thing is a revelation. 1. It's very well constructed and feels extremely solid. The aluminum makes it feel nice and hefty. I feel like I could use this thing as a self defense weapon if I had to. 2. Typing feels great on it. Even though the Cherry Red keys are primarily intended for gaming, typing on it is accurate and comfortable. The resistance is spot on.
Summary: Appearance: Brushed anodized metal (mostly; we'll get back to that), the lack of a bezel gives the board the appearance of floating keys. White LEDs are bright - I usually leave set to 66% (Lights are adjustable 0-33-66-100%). Easy to clean, as compressed air at the bottom row is sufficient to blow any stray dust out the top.
Summary: If you have never experienced a mechanical key keyboard you will be impressed at the quality, especially of this Corsair keyboard as the frame is aluminum - very sturdy and well made. Could not bee more impressed with one exception, I was let down by finding that the area surrounding the programmable "G" keys is not aluminum but plastic. Don't know why they did that when everything else is so rock solid and high quality.
