Summary: The Corsair Vengeance K95 has everything gamers look for in a mechanical gaming keyboard: fast response times, tactile feedback, solid construction and loads of personalization. Gaming keyboards are all about speed and control, and this keyboard delivers on those two principles. The K95 facilitates your gaming skills and improves your interactive experience.
Pros: You can toggle the LED underneath every key individually, and the brushed aluminum housing outlasts most other keyboards.
Conclusion: The Corsair Vengeance K95 gaming keyboard combines sophisticated design and extensive gaming features for one of the best keyboards we've seen for either gaming or professional use.
Pros: High-quality mechanical keyboard is great for gaming or typing. Individual key backlighting. Numerous programmable macros. Built-in media controls. Detachable palmrest. Solid aluminum construction.
Conclusion: It’s an investment, as keyboards go. But the way we see it, it’s tough to get into a mechanical keyboard for much under $100, so, if you can, it’s worth shelling out for the one you really want, because you won’t likely be replacing it for many years. And everything about the Vengeance K95’s design and build quality screams “keeper.” We recommend it whole-heartedly.
Pros: Rigid aluminum-frame design, Backlighting is customizable per key (and classy-looking), 18 macro keys enable up to 54 shortcuts, Easy-to-use macro software, with hardware-execution option
Cons: Aluminum baseplate tends to show off dust, No choice of switch types (MX Red only)
Summary: When we tested the Vengeance series keyboards initially, we were impressed. The same sentiment applied to the K90 and the K70 again is a product that brings a smile to my face. The Corsair Vengeance K95 however is not a completely new design keyboard though, it's the evolution of the Vengeance Gaming Keyboard series and quite honestly, Corsair did a splendid job as this round they listened to end-user feedback.
Excerpt: We recently reviewed Corsair's K70 mechanical keyboard, the successor to the K60. Today we'll take a closer look at the K70's bigger sibling, the K90. It is replacing the Corsair K95, and is also equipped with mechanical Cherry MX Red backlit keys. It comes with 18 extra gaming keys for macros on the left side, and a wrist support that spans the entire keyboard.
Summary: The Vengeance K95 is the new flagship gaming keyboard from Corsair which was built on the already successful K90 platform but now with all-mechanical key layout (Cherry MX Red) for enhanced durability and key-by-key addressable backlighting. The keyboard does also come with a black anodized brushed aluminum chassis for a clean, professional look and it is really easy to clean.
Conclusion: While the keyboard itself may not be perfect, it is currently our favorite keyboard on the market and an improvement on a keyboard that we have already deemed one of the best keyboards ever.
Conclusion: Sometimes we have to tie ourselves in knots to explain our findings and justify our awards, but for the first time in a while that’s not the case. The Vengeance K95 is just that good. It is sometimes difficult to reconcile the expense of a mechanical keyboard with the value-added nature of the features included. Such was the case with the K70, which despite being an excellent keyboard asked a lot for the £120. With the Vengeance K95 much of decision is devoid of stress.
