  • Summary: Peripherals are the most over looked improvement you can make for any setup gaming or otherwise. It makes all the difference in the world so make sure to get quality. These don't get out dated as quickly as video cards or processors so the money is totally worth it!
  • Pros: -I use this everyday and haven't had any problems with it. Typing on this keyboard makes a huge difference in my typing speed i never have been able to feel so at one with my keys before this. -If you take care of it you wont have to get a new one for a really really long time. I might keep this ...
  • Cons: I Can Not go back to a lesser keyboard now that I've had a taste of the good life.

Best keyboard i've used

  • Pros: Very high quality switches. I own a TTesports Poseidon Z with brown Kailh switches for work and can notice the superior quality of both Cherry MX switches and the keyboard itself. I have tried Logitech's Romer-G switches as well as Razer's own special brand of Kailh with the gold plated contacts ...
  • Cons: Key travel is a bit too high for my liking, but this can be mitigated by 40-AR o-ring dampeners. If you're looking to reduce key travel, trust me on this, 40-AR is the size you want. One of the only downsides is that this keyboard gets dirty under the keys very easily because the keys are raised ...

Just as amazing as everyone says it is

  • Summary: I was on the fence about this for a while, but I am SUPER-happy that I've purchased this keyboard. The feeling of typing on it is wonderful. The build quality is awesome, as well. The rubber feet strongly stick to my desk. The volume wheel is fun to use.

Would buy again

  • Pros: Most solid keyboard I've ever used. The audio keys are great, the custom lights are great, the solid design is great. The cords are super thick. I can't wait to get a RGB.
  • Cons: The only thing I could complain about, is how loud the keys are, but you can buy dampeners and solve that problem.

Great keyboard

  • Pros: Switches feel great, usb pass through is good for my wireless mouse, backlighting is adjustable, sleek professional design.
  • Cons: As others have said, the bottom parts of keys don't illuminate very well, cord is not very long for me, and my mute button came popped off. Not a big deal, just popped it back on and it was fine.

  • Summary: this is my first mechanical keyboard and i have to say even after paying what most say is to much for a keyboard i am very happy i payed the money for the brown switches. the lighting option for the light to come on after a keystroke seems to help my typing since i have to look at my keyboard to...
  • Pros: 100% brown switches, 100%anti-ghosting,100% awesome, aluminum face plate, key by key lighting
  • Cons: none so far

  • Summary: I'm coming from a Logitech G105 COD MW3 edition KB that I got on sale a few years ago. I shouldn't have bought that and just ponied up to a mechanical keyboard. These keyboards are worth the price, and should last me many years.
  • Pros: Amazing Build Quality. Looks very nice LEDs give a cool glow against the black chasis. Red and Black, you can never go wrong. Keys are very responsive, I'm coming from a cheap membrane keyboard.
  • Cons: No macro keys, but not a big deal for me. I have a glossy monitor and the red LEDs reflect on the screen so I have to turn them off. I'm upgrading to a more matte finish monitor so hopefully that will not be an issue. Something to consider.

Perfect Perfect Perfect

Patricia M., Newegg

  • Pros: Perfect switches Perfect layout Perfect backlighting (while RGB would be cool, but that's a thing now anyway) Windows lock key is very nice to have in heated fps games
  • Cons: Ok, maybe some macros would be nice... Backlighting profiles aren't particularly useful, illumination patterns would have been cooler. Wristguard is unnecessary, I don't think I've ever actually touched it except to clean off smudges.

Best keyboard

Joshua, Amazon
14 April 2015
  • Summary: This is the best keyboard that I have personally ever used, for gaming. The Cherry MX Red keys are excellent for quickly tapping keys repetitively since they are easy to press and their actuation point is the same as the restart point for the switch.
