Summary: Bought this on 5/1/2014, but today on 9/15/2015 it decided to stop working. I no longer seems to turn on. - Completely dead. It's still under the 2 year warranty, so I'm going to contact Corsair and let them know.
Pros: Looks nice Good Quality Typing on this is just a breeze
Cons: Not sure if others experienced this, but after about a year and a half of use it stopped working.
Summary: I bought this more as a professional than a gamer. I wish it was possible to buy a bare bone and decide on key types and led options. I leave my computer running 24/7 so having a red nightlight isn't enjoyable.
Pros: Typing is great Palm rest is ergonomic Nice industrial design
Cons: Expensive The lighting is annoying to me Brown keys are loader than expected
Summary: I liked this keyboard, but a few pitfalls ended up being dealbreakers for me causing me to return it. I wanted to upgrade from my current IBM Model M 'clacky' keyboard to something more modern.
Pros: Nice tactile keyboard, sturdy aluminum faceplate, sexy black/red theme, no drivers means no driver issues, quieter than IBM Model M, built-in usb port.
Cons: ESC key placement, black keys don't stand out from black base, red lit keys hard to read under light and dark conditions, red lights are uneven.
Summary: I'm giving this a 3 egg rating right now because I was eagerly awaiting the arrival of this and when I opened it the wrist rest was not in the box anywhere so for now this is the rating I am giving it. Other than that this is a really nice keyboard.
Pros: Seems to be of solid build. Secondary backlighting option allows for each key to be turned on or off. While it would be nice if it was USB3, USB2 extension through keyboard allows for convenient splitter location taped under desk for close mouse sensor and flash drives.
Cons: An hour or so after first plugging it in at home the keyboard stopped communicating with the PC. The lights would turn on and off, but nothing registered with the device. After rebooting, keyboard works (for the most part). On main desktop CAPS lock light is stuck on, and others are stuck off. On...
Summary: Overall this is a nice solid keyboard. This is my first gaming mechanical keyboard and am fairly pleased. Before I get too far into the review however I will say I get the impression Corsair's quality control is lacking and before you get too comfortable with yours be sure to check all the keys and...
Summary: This keyboard feels and looks of high quality but ingame compared to the rather cheap and now discontinued Microsoft keyboard I had used before this one... it felt as though as I was far more in control where this one simply does not tell my finger it has pressed a key.
Pros: General High Quality Backlit
Cons: Keys are too easily influenced. I'd often mistakenly press the Space key for instance and less so over time but yet persistently to this day, among other keys occasionally.
Summary: I would love a functional keyboard, and I hope to receive one when I pay $100+ for a keyboard. But it's not worth RMA-ing repeatedly to be entered into the lottery for a fully functional model.
Summary: This keyboard looks very sleek and I was hoping it would work for me. I have grown accustomed to low-profile keyboards, and find I often glide my hand across keyboards to use the number pad, arrow keys, etc.
Summary: Keyboard works great. It's aluminum base is heavy. which would be good in a tray. My use is in my lap while gaming. Keyboard is unforgivable if you are not an excellent typists, keys are very sensitive. I found I am not as good a typists as previously believed.
