READ FIRST - Stuck Key Issue - They know but haven't fixed
12 September 2012
Summary: Bought the Corsair K60 based on reviews here at Amazon. Nice keyboard in theory. In practice, there are a number of serious flaws and problems related to the K60 and K90. Search for K60 stuck keys issue or look at the Corsair support forums. Rather than fix it - they are even locking threads about the stuck key issue. There are other problems as well. Seems like a poorly executed product backed up by a very active PR team.
Summary: On the basis of positive reviews in the gaming press and the age of my current keyboard, I purchased this device. It is unusable. The replacement that Amazon kindly immediately dispatched arrived in identical useless condition. The keys randomly either don't register presses or jam on. I cant even type in my password to log onto windows and have gone back to my old keyboard to type this review.
Summary: I purchased the Corsair k60 keyboard about a month ago and can say it was a complete waste of money. First of all the keyboard itself is not fully mechanical. Only the qwerty section and num pad use the red cherry mechanical switches and this is not clearly (if at all) advertised on the Amazon listing, arguably this product is being miss sold. The fact that the delete key is not mechanical makes typing on this keyboard annoying and frustrating.
