Summary: Before buying this I read up on all the different types of Cherry switches. The Cherry Black that I selected was recommended for hard typists, with no click, and the switch was not supposed to make until the key was press all the way down. This was never the case. I am a sloppy typist, due to having little sensation in my fingertips, so I wanted a keyboard that wouldn't generate a character from being partially depressed or brushed against.
Summary: This keyboard would NOT boot on my 3 year old premium Intel Windows 7 (64-bit) computer even if I turned off the Quick Boot in the BIOS as instructed by the CM Website and confirmed by the CM technical support. The boot was stuck forever on "Initializing USB Controllers". The keyboard DID boot and operate properly on a new Windows 7 computer, so I suspect the keyboard I received is representative.
Summary: I purchased this item back in February 21, 2013. It was amazing at first; everything seemed to be working great. That is until today. Today it decided to stop responding and eventually refused to light up all together. I'm stuck now with a $10 keyboard while my Storm Trigger has turned into a HUGE $100 paperweight. I need to RMA this product after a little over 2 months of use.
