Update

Nicholas A., Newegg
9 January 2014
  • Summary: This is a message, not to newegg but to Cooler Master, you guys need to get your customer service act together. I don't know what I have to do to even be able to get someone on the phone and talk to them!
  • Pros: This is a good keyboard, when it works, and my gripe isn't even with the keyboard. (see cons/other thoughts)
  • Cons: The keyboard stopped working almost 4 months after purchase, with absolutely no reason for it at all! I RMA'd it, and am waiting for a return phone call. (see other thoughts)

Awful Customer Service

Cypher, Amazon
7 January 2014
  • Summary: I bought this keyboard a while ago. It worked for about three months and then my computer stopped registering the keyboard. After testing it on multiple computers with no luck, I gave up. Finally after finagling for a while, I sent it back to Coolermaster.

Unreliable Software Ruins this Keyboard

Richard, Amazon
29 December 2013
  • Summary: I bought this keyboard in May and at first it seemed to work fine. By August, it stopped working The keys did not respond, I could not get into my bios, nothing. I contacted "Customer Support" and they told me to read the FAQ's. We ll I did and found that they were of no help.

Disappointed - Don't waste your money on this thing

01Rogue "01Rogue", Amazon
19 September 2013
  • Summary: I've had this less than 3 months and the paint has already worn off some of the keys. Given the price I expected better. I won't be buying any more CM products. Update: Now the cable is being flaky. Why would you want the main cable to plug into the keyboard instead of being hard wired?

Poor support

Josh P., Newegg
6 May 2013
  • Summary: I did not purchase this product through Newegg. Newegg is always awesome.
  • Pros: Everything relating to the keyboard itself is magnificent. The switches are just as they should be, the backlighting is brilliant, and the macro keys are just awesome. If it were just relating to the keyboard, 5/5 eggs hands down.
  • Cons: The Cooler Master/CM Storm support is dreadful. I put in an inquiry (#2373) on March 20 of this year about a replacement part and got a response NINE days later (on March 29th) stating that I can get replacements at major retailers, and the support rep told me I could reply back to the ticket. I ...

Great keyboard. It broke. Now I have to pay to replace it.

Thaddaeus Y., Newegg
1 May 2013
  • Summary: My rating of one is entirely due to your company requiring me to pay for return shipping. That is unacceptable. Also it boots up slowly, so on some computers you can't access the bios. But this is barely a problem since most BIOS are really slow.
  • Pros: Heavy, so it doesn't move on your desk. Cherry MX Brown keys feel fantastic. Macro keys are executed in the keyboard hardware - so you can do things that Windows doesn't like such as Ctrl-Alt-Del and opening the cmd window as administrator. VERY awesome feature for programmers.
  • Cons: It broke after a month of use when I attached it to a new computer and installed the drivers. I'm not whining about LEDs not lighting up like most complaints. The entire keyboard stopped working. And yes, it is broken on other computers as well. Computers will recognize when it is plugged in. The...

I Would Stay Away From CM Storm Trigger Keyboards

Jasha S., Newegg
18 January 2013
  • Summary: Get a Corsair Vengeance, Razer, Logitech, TTeSports. Any other brand really. I'm not going to trust Coolermaster with a quality gaming keyboard anymore, and I wouldn't recommend this poorly manufactured piece of junk to anyone.
  • Pros: Heavy Weight Comfortable Nice Clack (Please read the cons, it gets hairy)
  • Cons: So, I won this keyboard in a giveaway about half a year back. Since then I've gone through THREE of these keyboards. The longest one of them has lasted for me is 2 months. The Micro-USB power connector that powers the keyboard and plugs it into the computer is EXTREMELY flimsy and can snap off wi...

Poor Design Decision

Thomas D., Newegg
7 December 2012
  • Summary: To anyone wondering whether or not to purchase this product. My personal experience means I will never again purchase a keyboard that uses a detachable connector to connect to the computer.
  • Pros: Cherry Blue Switches give nice auditory and tactile feedback. The overall look and feel works well with my CM 932 case. Nice braided cord looks sleek and feels very sturdy. The keyboard itself also feels very sturdy
  • Cons: The mini USB connector that connects the keyboard to the PC is, at best flimsy, and will in my experience fail within a week of use if the keyboard and its cord are not bolted to the desk. I had it for about a week before the first failure of the connector. It literally just wiggled loose aparent...
