Great

Rafael C., Newegg
24 December 2015
  • Summary: Besides the noise of the switch for me and the fn lock it is a great keyboard and with you like the brown switch you definitely should buy it.
  • Pros: It`s a wonderful keyboard, the white light is great, function buttons for light, game mode or intensity is awesome, Also it has the number pad so for me is great this full size keyboard and has a great feel when typing.
  • Cons: This keyboard has CHERRY MX Brown switches, but for me is too loud when I read the specifications and was comparing with the blue and red switch i thought it would be less loud and the fn button can look and I need to press the F5 a lot of times and sometimes it`s locked because I needed to chang...

Not Bad

Richard S., Newegg
16 November 2015
  • Summary: For the price & the fact it's lasting me well over 2 years makes it a good buy.
  • Pros: Simple design, separate media buttons would've been nice but it's fine how they incorporated them into the F keys. Heavy as hell but that's good to prevent movement.
  • Cons: None really other than the fact that the first one they sent me had an LED light out under the F12 key. Upon getting a replacement I noticed that the button's light was installed upside down. This doesn't matter too much though, still does the job.

User Review

  • Summary: Great gaming keyboard although I do wish there were USB ports built onto the sides of it like some others on the market. Despite that great keyboard and very responsive. LEDs and switches are on par with other keyboards I've owned before from other brands.
  • Pros: Solid Built
  • Cons: N/A

Just What I Wanted

George F., Newegg
10 May 2014
  • Summary: I love the one I bought so much that I want to buy another. I hope NewEgg gets more soon. :)
  • Pros: Solid as a rock, fully backlit, great feel, increased my speed and accuracy.
  • Cons: Labeling on some symbol keys is odd, the 'clickless" Cherry Brown switches are plenty clacky, currently out of stock.

CM Storm QuickFire Ultimate - Full Size Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Brown Switches and Fully White LED Backlit

M H., Newegg
4 May 2014
  • Summary: I was looking for a fully backlit mechanical keyboard. I was also contemplating on whether to get this one or the one with Cherry MX Red. Chose this one instead and am not regretting the decision.
  • Pros: Very Solid. A bliss to type and game on. I had no problems thus far with the keyboard and it feels so nice especially when you play FPS games.
  • Cons: The backlighitng on some keys could be improved. Function key takes too long to be switched on/off

Great Keyboard

Monte M., Newegg
26 April 2014
  • Summary: This was my first mechanical keyboard, and I was very impressed when I first got it. I had been using the Razer Lycosa for about 3 years (had to unplug it every now and then because buttons would stop working), and when I got my QuickFire Ultimate I wasn't sure how to feel about it.
  • Pros: Durability Key Feedback Lighting Ease of Removing Keys
  • Cons: No Palm Rest

Good but hold off on buying

David R., Newegg
20 April 2014
  • Summary: Fairly good mechanical keyboard but I would think twice before selecting this one if you are a person of uniformity. I am seriously considering returning it, but I will wait until the mouse comes, and I will make my final verdict then.
  • Pros: Well it is nice to type on, I will admit that. Sweet cable, especially since it's removable. I love the brown switches, and I think I have fallen in love with brown. Also, it comes with a key remover to help clean this puppy out, which also helps when you want to figure out what the hell is up wi...
  • Cons: Not product breaking things here, but definitely annoying as all hell. For some reason, Cooler Master decided that the F12 key should have a upside down back light and switch holder, so the back lighting isn't uniform. Then, the 5 key on the top row has a 5, a % and a Euro symbol, and I have no c...

Nice Keyboard, Some Issues

Norman Z., Newegg
19 April 2014
  • Summary: I am somewhat disappointed. It seems as if I haven't gotten the right keyboard with the uneven back lighting and no white back plate as advertised.
  • Pros: My first mechanical keyboard and I love the feel of it. I love the cherry mx browns, much better than membrane keyboards. The full back lighting is a nice aesthetic, but I have a few issues with that. It also feels like a tank.
  • Cons: As mentioned before I have a few issues. The back lighting on the keyboard is uneven. Some keys are brighter than the others. The lighting also doesn't seem as potent as others have made it out to be. This may be because I got one where there was no white back plate.

Update to previous review

Anonymous, Newegg
18 April 2014
  • Pros: Update to my previous 4 star review
  • Cons: Typing on this keyboard quickly went from relative joy to irritation. I have about 5-6 keys that make a metallic pinging noise when I type (without bottoming out) including the space bar. The best way to describe it would be tapping a teaspoon inside of a tin can. Installing O-Rings have not fixe...

Built like a tank

Anonymous, Newegg
16 April 2014
  • Pros: Extremely well built, nice even backlighting, pleasing actuation with keystrokes, thick braided USB cable, love the font choice for the keys.
  • Cons: Not sure whether it's a fault in mine or just the way it was designed, but the F12 key doesn't light up the same as the others, might be because it's the Windows lock key so they wanted to differentiate it but I'd rather have the option to do that myself and have consistency across all the keys. ...
