A good few years on, still going strong

JCM, Amazon
19 May 2014
  • Summary: I was looking for a laptop-style keyboard (much easier for touch-typing, I find), and this was and still is perfect. Most keyboards I've had have failed after a few years, but this is still perfect a good 4, 5 years on. Good stuff.

Cherry eVolution STREAM Corded MultiMedia Keyboard Black

A. M. Turnbull, Amazon
24 February 2014
  • Summary: beautifully crafted keyboard and if you want style over substance then it is perfect............it looks good and is well built with quality materials but you have bash the keys to make sure it reaches the screen or you are left with quite a few errors................i dont mind this and i will put up with it as i love my new stealth keyboard................my son is into mechanical keyboards and he hates it..............no accounting for taste.

Not much to add, but

baldmosher, Amazon
26 January 2010
  • Summary: As others have said, after a few weeks of use I absolutely love the feel of the keys, and its a surprisingly heavy and solid unit. My only criticisms would be levelled at all keyboards of this type: the key edges are quite easy to catch with your fingertips as you move around the surface, and the shallow profile isn't as responsive as full size keys, but it is easier to hit them and you do get used to using it.

Nice but not excellent

Graham, Amazon
20 January 2010
  • Summary: This keyboard is quite nice, but its not as good as a lot of people here make out. There are very small gaps between the keys, so you can end up pressing two buttons at the same time quite often. Theres also not much spring back from the keyboard when you type.

flat, stylish and elegant

Paul Townsend, Amazon
29 December 2009
  • Summary: Extremely flat, stylish and elegant, the Cherry eVolution STREAM Corded MultiMedia Keyboard requires no software installation or extensive installation procedure. Ultra-silent, it features whisper keystroke for particularly low-noise use. It also boasts ultra-flat, modern design with pleasant-to-touch keys and 6 HotKeys for comfortable volume control and the most important Mediaplayer functions.

Style without substance

Mr. L. M. Godfrey, Amazon
3 December 2009
  • Summary: Nice looking keyboard. Feels good typing but it didn't last 4 months until 7 keys stopped working. No food etc has been stuck underneath the keys so I put it down to poor build quality.

Quiet and real quality-feel

uksant, Amazon
17 November 2009
  • Summary: My primary reason for getting a new keyboard was to avoid the 'rat-a-tat-tat' of my old one, which kept the kids awake in the late evening. This one is very quiet and has a really high quality feel to the key action so I'm very glad I decided to spend just a little more on it compared to the cheapo keyboards that are less than a tenner.
