Great Work Keyboard

Matthew J., Newegg
28 January 2016
  • Summary: -I miss it, I wish I could get this board repaired, it treated me well.
  • Pros: -Very work appropriate and professional looking -Whisper Quiet keys, which keeps my coworkers happy -Really good feel and fit to my hands, the keys were not mechanical, but still felt novel, and enjoyable. I also have another gaming keyboard at home with blue switches which I love to just type on...
  • Cons: -I spilled a cup of water right on it, just dumped it on, when I was moving my cup and it slipped out of my hands and poured all over it. Not sure if it was spill-resistant or not, but it's definitely not waterproof.

Not What Other Reviewers State

Michael S., Newegg
30 April 2014
  • Summary: Not sure what Cherry means when it comes to OEM plastic keyboards. Can't be the same as the mechanical keyboards. There are very nice keyboard deals out there. This one is definitely not one of them. At this price, this keyboard is not worth it. Very, very disappointed.
  • Pros: Sturdy keyboard.
  • Cons: Feel/touch is terrible. Its a big, clunky keyboard. Very disappointing by today's standards. Brand new keyboard - my dad won't even use it - prefers his 15 year old keyboard. Just terrible to use.

I like it a lot

Joseph N., Newegg
12 April 2014
  • Summary: I have tried two medium to high auality Logitech wireless combos (MK710 the latest) and none have lasted more than two days without reliability issues. The keyboard feedback is mushy and wobbly and the mouse is not very precise. I am done with wireless.
  • Pros: Nice feel to the keys with good tactile and audio feedback reducing typos a ton.
  • Cons: Lacks extra like multimedia keys and internet browser shortcut but I can definitely live without them for the overall good quality and feel.

  • Pros: This is a great keyboard. Very nice feel to it and it has a nice long cable to easily reach tower under desk. Full part number is G83-6104LUNEU-0.

Not as good as I hoped

tela, Amazon
22 December 2013
  • Summary: I'm typing on it right now, and although most of the keys work okay and have decent feedback, there are a few rebellious keys. They aren't consistent in required pressure. For example, the backspace key takes more force to push down than the other keys and doesn't spring up as quickly.

  • Summary: I'm still using this keyboard as I type out this review. It has definitely withstood my fat fingers pounding on it day-in and day-out.

James H., Newegg
10 October 2013
  • Pros: Classic design and feel, truly durable, keeps its promises. This has held up to three years of punishments from my wife's nails. As an attorney, she really gives this keyboard a workout every day. The letters are still clear, and the keyboard still feels like new. I'm impressed!
  • Cons: A bit pricey; but could be worth it if this continues to last.

Exactly what I expected

Tom Willems, Amazon
30 August 2013
  • Summary: No complaints - exactly as expected. The layout is the US standard layout (with large left shift key), not the US International layout. The keys are not too light/heavy for me - just perfect.

Great Buy

Thomas K., Newegg
18 June 2013
  • Summary: They need a better picture of this product. It looks like a regular black keyboard's supposed to look, with good fit and finish.
  • Pros: Solid Keyboard. Not Flashy. Soft touch. Quiet.
  • Cons: None yet.
