Summary: I have purchased this product without much of an expectation. I was nicely surprised of its appearance and "feel". The keys are soft and remind me so much of my MacBook Air. I have not had any trouble so far.
Summary: Since the miniITX boards came out the fans of game platform emulators like MAME and multimedia centers like MythTV have come up with hundreds of designs for a small multimedia computer with living room appeal. It was all very exciting, but I was always wondering why no company would create such e device and sell it for a reasonable price. Finally, here is the eeeKeyboard and it is perfect.
Summary: Windows 7 installed the driver in seconds. The combo works great. Exactly what I was looking for. The keys are shallow but feel great when typing and are spaced well for my medium sized hands. Think of it as a good hybrid between an old-school board and a laptop.
Summary: i had high expectation for this product... but tried it for one day and i decided to return it. my reasons : 1) too expensive - basically it's a netbook, similar to Asus's Asus Eee PC 1001P-MU17-BK 10.1-Inch Intel Atom Netbook Computer (Black) or Asus EeeBox EBXB202-BLK-X0081 Desktop PC (1.6 GHz Intel Atom Processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, XP Home) Black (i have both of them, and 2-3 starts to both of them), so $600 is too expensive for a netbook (OK, it has...
Summary: Other reviewers have accurately described the pros and cons so I won't repeat. The spacebar issue and the sporadic dead spots where nothing registers are frustrating. If you're wondering, I have purchased two of these with the same issues and in both cases I'm within 8 ft and a direct line of site of the USB receiver. I like the looks and feel of the keyboard although the mouse could be better. Another annoyance that others have not reported is the mouse tracking rate.
Summary: This set works perfectly with the Asus netbook. It found its own drivers and was ready to use right out of the box. I would caution only that it works well with the Asus Eee, but when I tried it with an HP desktop, it did not work well. But for the Asus, it's amazingly easy and reliable.
Summary: A. Aulakh's review there is pretty good, so I'll just add a few comments on my own experience... I'd been looking for a small wireless keyboard (one without the numeric keyboard) for quite some time, and while there are plenty to choose from, I think this particular setup is the best value for the money: All of the ones I saw that were cheaper either looked kinda "crude" (whereas this keyboard and mouse are quite stylish, really) and/or they weren't a paired keyboard AND...
Summary: I recently bought a large monitor to use in lieu of my laptop LCD screen, and needed a keyboard/mouse to complete my set up. I was looking for something that was form-factor, would look pretty on my desk, was wireless, simple, and works well. I looked at a number of different keyboards (HP elite, microsoft arc, rocketfish, adesso, logitech), and this was the only one that seemed to fit all of my qualifications.
