Stylish, easy-to-use product with ideally sized and weighted keys

CEMR, CNET
7 January 2015
  • Summary: I thought I would hate this, as my Bluetooth Apple Magic Mouse uses batteries like it's a shareholder in Duracell; but the batteries in this last months, even with hours of daily use.
  • Pros: It's stylish, and the keys feel just right to type with. Batteries last forever (well, a long time..). Bluetooth convenience.
  • Cons: I don't mind having no number pad, but I'd like Home, End, a proper Delete key, and 2 Ctrl keys, not just 1.

Not a standard keyboard

mjbates, CNET
14 November 2012
  • Summary: It's a typical Apple product, nice build quality, but none standard for no good reason. I should not have to relearn how to touch type on a basic qwerty.
  • Pros: Good build quality
  • Cons: Basic keyboard is not the standard layout, if I have to look at a keyboard to find a key it is automatically a failure., No extra keys, which are so common on other keyboards that they are almost standard., Not ergonomic.

Basic, basic problem

Randal O, Apple Store
2 November 2012
  • Summary: You can never tell if it's on or off. When you turn it on, a little light blinks green once. And when you turn it off, guess what -- that's right, a little light blinks green once. So you have no way of knowing if it's off or on!!!!

Meant for market niche; not for productivity.

  • Summary: It's certainly sleek, durable, and minimalistic but none of these help if you use your iMac for productivity/office intentions. As a senior in college, I use my iMac every day. Word docs, Excel reports, etc.

Small, sexy, and responsive

Brian P, Apple Store
27 October 2012
  • Summary: I'm a road warrior and have only worked from a laptop going on 16 years. I finally made room on my desk at home for a monitor so bought Apple keyboard and trackpad. Easy transition when I get the opportunity to work at home and doesn't take up much space. Quickly power off and put away in drawer.
