Pros: Nice multimedia keyboard with everything you need to sit on the couch and operate a computer. Installation easy and just works on a windows 7 machine.
Cons: 100 feet in distance is a bit of a stretch. My couch is about 30 feet from my computer and it will not reach even with brand new batteries. Would reach about 20 feet but over the course of a week that reach was limited as the batteries weekend. Keyboard as an on and off switch and if you do not u...
Summary: Before buying ANYTHING from Adesso, try calling their tech line, you won't get an answer or a return phone call (I'm serious...try it for yourself!). Try their on-line chat...it doesn't work! Try requesting an RMA.
Pros: Looks great, feels great, has every button you could wish for.
Cons: 100' range is an absolute joke when it does work. Try 10'. Unit died after an hour of use.
Summary: Pretty good device. I like the pad opposed to track ball designs. Everything works very well. I turn the power switch on the bottom off when not using. But I have noticed that if I start a movie in Media Center and turn it off, sometimes it triggers options like it would if you do a right click on a...
Pros: -Nice Design -Simple to use -Works as expected -Slim and lightweight
Cons: -IR device needs to be in front of media pc -Takes a few seconds for PC to acknowledge after turn on (very minor) - When turn off it sometimes triggers Vista options
Summary: Should have spent the extra 50 bucks on the Logitech DiNovo w/bluetooth in the first place. Bought that and have not had any problems at all
Pros: Great Range and got it on sale for $85, Kudos newegg.
Cons: Everything else. Touchpad is extremely frustrating. Just moving the mouse around, you run the risk of dragging anything on the screen to any random location the touchpad will take you. Even more annoying since I run dual monitors. Feels very cheap in quality and sometimes certain random keys woul...
Summary: I missed the 30 day return policy by a couple of days. Drag! This product is not ready for the market place.
Pros: I liked that it was rf instead of ir
Cons: The layout is bad with oddly shaped keys and non-standard spacing. The construction is really poor, USB receiver fell apart and the keyboard doesn't sit flat on the desk. Mouse pointer moves randomly. Mouse buttons are on the opposite side of the keyboard.
Summary: If you really want a good keyboard I would suggest getting a blue tooth dongle and getting the PS3 keyboard since it will work on a PC as well. It's a far superior keyboard to this.
Pros: Its got a great range, the media controls are really nice to have, the hot keys are a great feature, the touch pad is nice when it works right, really good battery life, and it has a great range.
Cons: My main complaint about this keyboard is the keys are garbage. Sometimes they won't respond without a very hard firm press and even then they still won't work. Its takes a little getting use to with the layout because of how they angled the keyboard but after a couple days I was able to use it ju...
Summary: This is the best option fot a HTPC. Everyone that has used it has liked it. I've droped it twice on wood floors and it still works perfectly. the only downside is that the connection tends to be easily interupted by big objects.
Pros: Lightweight but not really cheap feeling, Great layout with touch pad an mouse click buttons, has hotkeys for internet, email, my computer, calculator, media center, and all media control hotkeys i.e. play, pause, stop, etc...
Cons: The connection seems kinda iffy at times but its not something that bothers me much, A bit pricey
Summary: When will someone offer a decent long-range board with a variable channel selection to bypass interference issues??
Pros: Worked for 3 weeks.
Cons: If you have a wireless keyboard elsewhere in the house, it may interfere with this board. Touch pad is too sensitive. Board feels cheap. Failed completely at 28 days. Unable to connect to the system.
