Summary: I enjoy using my new Adesso wireless USB keyboard. I will share a few pieces of advice to save you some frustration. First, be sure to let the USB dongle search for driver updates before attempting to use the keyboard. The search process may take a few minutes! Second, be sure the NUMBER KEYPAD select key is NOT selected. I tried many, many times to login to my computer and I kept getting a "password incorrect". The alternate number keys are on top of the letters!!!
Good little keyboard for the price; but has some quirks

Summary: I am writing this review on the new keyboard and I have some thoughts. First I'll say go to Roberts review on Aug. 11, 2010 for great tips (he covers all the quirks that come with this keyboard. So far I think it is doing a good job but the keys do have a bit of a cheap feel to it. The spacebar and a couple of other keys sometimes make slight scrapping noise, but they are bouncy and responsive. The keys are about in the correct spot.
Summary: No mouse on a wireless keyboard is so limiting, it just reduces wires. With this keyboard / touch pad you get a lot more mobility.
Pros: This keyboard is similar is size to a small notebook keyboard. Its got a nice feel to it and the touchpad works great.
Cons: Takes a bit too long to wake up and reconnect. Ive been using other wireless keyboards for years and they wake up with a quick double tap of the shift key. This one does too, but the delay before you can start typing is a few seconds longer. Doesnt seem like a long, but it becomes noticeable.
Summary: Using it with a Windows 7 Pro box. It works perfectly even when it's not pointed directly at the computer which is really nice. There are no features other than what it does. Only a 4 for value because 80 bucks seems like a lot of money for this but that's what this type of thing costs wherever you shop. It's VERY lightweight and seems pretty durable. It's a good product.
Summary: I use this for my W7 Media Center PC along with the Adesso Media Center Remote. The keyboard is light, which is great because it moves around from entertainment center to couch to kitchen counter. The keys have a laptop feel, not a external keyboard feel. I work mostly with desktop keyboards and I find my typing to be slower with this keyboard. If you work mostly on a laptop you may not see any difference.
Summary: This is a very light weight and responsive keyboard. Touch pad works perfectly and the size is just right for a compact keyboard. I use this for my computer that is hooked up to my HD projector in my bedroom. The only thing that I do not like about it so far is that every time you restart your computer, the numlock turns on automatically and you have to remember to disable it everytime. It's a pain when entering your password when you restart your comp.
Summary: pros i bought this to use with my media center pc because of the track pad and rf wireless. Both of these features work as advertised, typing this review on it from my couch. It's nice not worrying about range or a separate mouse. cons tiny backspace key is a real pain for a bad typer like myself, as i have had to retrain my finger to not hit the ''home'' key every timet ry to hit it.
Summary: This is a great keyboard it provides a lot of functionality. it is vary light weight which could possibly be a bad thing there were moments that i didn't even notice it was on my lap. it works exactly as you would imagine its just like being on a laptop minus the screen. overall i would purchase this for my home theater.
