Terrible

Flor M., Newegg
5 August 2010
  • Summary: I bought this keyboard for my HTPC. I almost never use it because I have a remote control, but sometimes I need it to change something in the BIOS, or edit some file in the console using VI (ESC key is used a lot in VI). This would be the perfect keyboard for me if only it WORKED. I would buy another keyboard from this brand, except I don't trust them anymore after spending so much money on this and getting this quality in exchange.
  • Pros: - Perfect size, weight, key distribution (except for swapped Fn and Ctrl) - Mousepad is perfect size sensitivity, etc. - Keys material feels good
  • Cons: -Keyboard was defective almost from the beginning. ESC, F1, etc. don't work. - Range is not so good - Receiver is huge

You Can't Change every Neighbor's Router Settings !

Jeremy R., Newegg
31 July 2010
  • Summary: Touchpad fails, to varying degrees, 40% of the time. I ran a few tests. If I ever live far from any neighbors, I'll try this product again.
  • Pros: Laptop keyboard-like experience, accept for the touch pad
  • Cons: Touch pad glitchiness makes it useless. I'm calming down from the idea of breaking it over my knee and returning it today. If reconfiguring the local wifi settings is all which is required to get the link to work "silky Smooth"... then I can't reconfigure every neighbor's router for 300 feet in every direction. I'm going wired :\

Don't waste your money

  • Summary: this keyboard worked well at first, but the mouse pad stops working after a while. so, i returned it and got another, but the letter 't' on the 2nd wasn't working. so, i returned that one and the mouse pad on the 3rd stopped working as well. now i'm struggling to type on the 1st crappy adesso model i bought (the trackball one). Buy another brand and save your time and money.

Barely usable

Anonymous, Newegg
1 May 2010
  • Summary: It *may* work well for some people, by chance, because of their particular circumstances. However, it's not a reliable general device I'd want to have to count on out of the box. I'm very tolerant and generally find some use for marginal equipment I end up with, but it's not worth the lost effort and time in this case. May actually end up boxing it, taking it apart to see if I can fix it, or just giving it to Goodwill.
  • Pros: Good packaging. Lightweight. Sturdy.
  • Cons: Extremely directional (approx 20 vertical degrees of deflection, haven't tested horizontal deflection), so you must point it carefully at the USB receiver. Constantly in a state of "barely connected" with many missing keystrokes, re aiming, and retyping. Also, frequent inadvertent key repeating (acts like a stuck button). Same connectivity issue with mouse pad use, of course. The Fn key is where the Control key should be. The touchpad scroll bar is a good idea and use...

Good idea - bad execution

Micah W., Newegg
19 March 2010
  • Pros: It's small. It has a track pad.
  • Cons: The ideal use for this keyboard would be for a HTPC. I've had this for a while now and having that USB receiver sticking out the front of the case because it doesn't receive the signal in the back makes for high stress when my daughter's playing in the living room. Tracking on the pad is highly irritating compared to any decent laptop. Seriously, why is the FN key the one in the lower left. For someone who uses a lot of CTRL- keyboard shortcuts, this is extremely irri...

  • Summary: When I first tried to use this keyboard I had it laying flat on my lap. I tried several distances and angles to the laptop. The keyboard hardly responded at all. Finally, I figured out that if I put the legs down and get the front of the keyboard in the air it picked up much better. However, it still wouldn't pick up all key strokes or all mouse movement. I returned it the next day.
