Summary: This keyboard is to computers what remotes are to TVs. Once you have this, you'll never go back to wired. It has all the hotkeys you could want and need AND has a trackball for those of us who hate mice. No more dropping your hand to make sure the mouse is flat and level. Just reach up and use your thumb. I've had this keyboard for 3 years and haven't really had any problems except the occasional dirty trackball.
Summary: see i have own this product for over a year and well it's just garbage. here is why........... when you type it does not recognize all of the strokes or keys that you press for example you would type abraham with this it would look like this aaham in other words you press a 100 keys it only picks like 40 or 50 it pisses me off really bad cause this thing was not cheap it got me a really bad experience.
Summary: It doesn't have a long range. Use it on my couch which is about 10 feet from the USB receiver, and sometimes I have to move my desk's chair out of the way, or type the keys slowly. What sold me on it was the trackball and number pad, but I'd rather get a keyboard with a touchpad and have better range. Other than that, it's a good keyboard.
Summary: Wirelss keyboards are almost always a bit dodgy- they rely on batteries and some sort of dongle, the wireless link is subject to interference and the interface itself is compromised, especially in cases like this where the mouse is integrated into the keyboard. This model however is an embarassment even to wireless keyboards.
Summary: I purchased this keyboard as I was having a lot of shoulder pain from over extending my arm when using my mouse. I am 5ft nothing and my arm reach is not long enough to use a traditional keyboard and mouse comfortably - it means that the weight of my arm is all placed on my shoulder. As a project manager I was setting up lots of spreadsheets and cutting and pasting information and data and consistent use of the mouse made my shoulder pain worse.
Summary: I am not super impressed with this keyboard but it gets the job done. The bad: 1) The location of the reset button is in a bad place to hit every time you pick up the keyboard and when you do you have to get up and press the button on the USB receiver to link them again. 2) Mine doesn't work all that well when typing. It consistently misses key strokes and there cant be anything in between the keyboard and the receiver or it doesn't work.
Summary: I have had this keyboard for over 1.5 years, and it is still working fine. No problems with signal reception and I am about 20ft away from USB receiver (and USB receiver is in our armoire toward the back and under my tv). As far as durability, gotta say FANTASTIC! It has been dropped dozens of times and had liquid spills, with no adverse effects. Only annoying part would be the trackball (can be a bit sticky - a slight learning curve required).
Summary: I purchased the adesso wireless keyboard for a htpc I was building. The computer is wireless except connecttion to my 42 inch hdtv. The keyboard is working like a charm, except for a miss keying every blue moon. I am learning the full capabilities of this board, from playing DVD's to scrolling through web pages with the trackball.
Summary: I bought this keyboard for my HTPC setup in my living room. So far 4 months without any problems. I type about 70 wpm and it doesnt miss a key. there are very few full size keyboard especially with a number key pad which I use very often. I dropped it atleast a dozen times from 2 to 5 feet and is still in one piece. Only issue I have is im getting interference due to all the routers?! There are 15 showing up in my apartment and my router is right above my computer.
Summary: I got one of these 5 years ago when I first got my media box. A lot has changed on the computer since then but this keyboard lasted for quite a long time through me sitting on it, spilling food, and other non-typical things that happen to computer hardware in a TV room. When it finally did die (just the keyboard, the mouse still worked) I got another one because it worked so well.
