Summary: In short do not buy it, spend a bit more money and get a quality keyboard.
Pros: The touchpad is located in a good area where you can access it easily with your thumbs. It is not in a area that the palms would accidently hit it.
Cons: I have purchased two of these keyboards. Both have failed for the same reason. The touchpad switches fail after a period of time. The first keyboard failed just after a year and was out of warranty. The second failed after 10 months and I'm in the process of requesting an RMA.
Summary: This keyboard has a good feel to it and is well layed out but on several laptops it seems to freeze MS Excel, requiring reboot. I put on shelf to collect dust until I colleague had shoulder problems and I dusted off and put on desktop.
Summary: The keyboard installed easily and worked without a hitch. We have been experiencing some lock ups where the computer wouldn't respond to keyboard or touch pad activity. Unplugging the keyboard and plugging it back in usually solves that.
Summary: The best keyboard/touchpad combo I have ever used was on a Dell inspiron notebook. Up/down and side/side scrolling on the touchpad, excellent key feel and spacing, and otherwise excellent ergonomics. The only equivalent stand alone keyboard I can find does not have track pad scrolling.
Pros: The touchpad is responsive and the up/down scroll feature works well. Multimedia buttons are useful.
Cons: I bought this keyboard to help with my chronic carpel tunnel that is inflamed by using a mouse too often. The touchpad helps with the CT, but the keys are so difficult to press that it actually brought about the CT in both hands instead of just my write. I type a lot during the day and the keyboa...
Summary: I ordered the keyboard because of a shoulder problem I am having, reaching across my body from mouse, to letter board and back to number pad. The set up is great, decreasing that reach and I am getting relief from my shoulder pain.
Summary: It's been working fine for a few weeks. Nice touch to the keyboard. Win 7 drivers aren't worth installing just use MS. Nice features with them, but caused the pointer to jump all over and be uncontrollable. Other than that it's great.
Summary: As usual NewEgg customer service Rocks! I am considering the wireless ADESSO WKB-4400UB but because of the touchpad issue I am not sure about it. This was my first Adesso purchase.
Pros: Good board. Keys have good feel to them and are spaced properly. Touchpad has some great features using their software.
Cons: Media buttons are thin and have to be push down too far, I have big fingers and have a hard time with them. Touchpad is kinda buggy. It keeps randomly jumping to the bottom of the page and when hovering over something to view it the cursor keeps blinking and you have to keep it moving slightly to...
Summary: I have a laptop at home and realized that I can move quicker with the touchpad on it that with a mouse at work. Having a numeric keypad was VERY important, seeing as I have to deal with lots of numbers daily. The keys are soft and don't make a lot of noise.
