Summary: Not a bit of problems with this unit ... compared with higher priced units. We use it once or twice daily and have not had a bit of problems with the unit. Sturdy and very functional. Pull out ... no problems. Fits in rack perfectly. I should have given it 5 starts ... but I am sorry ... I don't fall in love with equipment very often.
Summary: The shipment of this item was quick and it arrived in good condition. However, what was ordered was a USB keyboard and what arrived was a PS2 keyboard! Due to time constraints, we were not able to ship it back and get the USB keyboard advertised. Fortunately, there were PS2 ports available on the unit for which we were using the keyboard. Other than that, the keyboard rack seems substantial and fits well into a standard 19" rack. The slides move smoothly.
Summary: First unit received had non-functioning top row of alpha keys, thus the star ding. Amazon had another delivered the next day without any additional charge AND a return label for the defective unit. The drawer and keyboard are actually very well made, plus you save rack space and eliminate the mouse.
No Techical Support for this product and will not fit Rack.

Summary: Bought this KB to be mounted on a Tripp Lite Rackmount. The screw holes seems to be not align to the Rack holes. It is off by 1 or 2 mm and will not fit. This is strange since the size for Rack is standard height. Try calling Adesso Tech Support and it seems to be non existent. Keep getting Voice Mail all the time. Sales would just pass me to Tech Support ghost line. Well, hate this product support and will be returning this asap.
Summary: The installation into my 19" 42U Rack was a breeze. The Keyboard has a nice feel to it, however others may feel that the pressure is a little on the higher side. I don't feel that way since the key's have a tactile feedback. Can't say much about the build-in touch pad since I don't use it at all. I just love it because it is out of sight and way if it isn't used. The cable channel does also a good jub in keeping your USB connection safely out of hams way.
Summary: This was a low cost tray compared to others I saw, but it does not feel cheap. Install is a snap and the cables in the back to not bunch. The keyboard itself in nice and sturdy and the touch pad worked from the start. All of the servers have accepted it into the pack and will soon migrate to their new home.
Summary: I purchased this keyboard and shelf for our main rack to connect to our KVM. The included keyboard fits well in the shelf. This shelf does not fit a standard keyboard with a number pad on the right, for reference. Slide actuation is smooth and mounting was easy.
