Works well enough

Lee, Amazon
10 May 2013
  • Summary: I've been using it 2-3 times a day over the past 3 days and have been quite happy with it. It boils really quickly. No plastic taste/smell in the water boiled (I threw away the first 2 boils). Works as stated. No complaints.

tea kettle

linda beerley, Amazon
4 April 2013
  • Summary: I first purchased this tea kettle at my Wegmans, and have been using it for a few years. My friend has been looking to purchase one and had been unsuccessful at our local stores. I found it on amazon.com with free shipping and sent it to my friend as an easter gift. We both love it. The water heats up really fast, it has no lingering odors or smells fromit.

Boils Water

James G. Bruen Jr., Amazon
30 March 2013
  • Summary: We've purchased several units of this model of kettle water boiler. All have worked well: surprise, they boiled water! The "on" indicator light is faint and therefore can be deceptive; occasionally we think the machine's on and heating water, but it isn't. The snap lock on the lid's a bit fragile; on one unit it soon stopped latching but that didn't cause the lid to pop open even when pouring the boiled water.

Perfect For Elderly Mother-in-Law

A. Honn, Amazon
31 January 2013
  • Summary: My 92 year old mother-in-law lives independently (in a retirement community) but has some difficulty with day to day tasks. I was concerned that heating water on the stove was becoming too difficult and potentially dangerous for her. I purchased this kettle for her and she loves it. Auto shut-off insures that she'll never let the kettle boil dry, The cool base insures that she will not burn herself on the stove.

Toastess Electric Jug Kettle, White

Vladimir Babin, Amazon
16 January 2013
  • Summary: This kettle looks pretty good, but I was expecting wireless kettle. Amazon. com didn't give the whole information (or it wasn't well readable) and I received kettle which is not matching our needs. It isn't good for kitchen needs. my wife was complaining that she had to unplug it every time when needed to add some water into pan on the stove. It isn't really fast too. I am not excluding that the kettle maybe will serve you forever, but it isn't something I desire to use.

  • Summary: This electric jug kettle works nicely and takes up only a small footprint on the countertop. We use ours every day or nearly every day, and it has been working fine, no problems.

What in life isn't a bit difficult?

K. Dvorak "muscle therapist", Amazon
25 November 2012
  • Summary: The lid is a bit difficult to open and shut, but what in life isn't a bit difficult? Get over it. The thing heats very quickly, I think 2-3 minutes for the minimum setting which is one serving. Pours easily, is balanced nicely for a small hand. The plug doesn't come out but then, it's easy to clean with a damp cloth inside and out. It's just water. I love the shut off. I don't have to worry about it boiling and boiling. Energy saving.
