good hold of the center of gravity while pouring so ...

Summary: Bought this after looking at a lot of options. my main consideration was there should not be any plastic parts (dont trust any plastic parts..) touching the boiling water. surprisingly the more expensive the kettle is there are more plastic parts touching the boiling water by design (either to show the water level or to make it look fancier etc). you'll get used to how much water you should boil in a couple of weeks without having to look through from outside (trust me).
Summary: Placed my order for this on :Order placed 5 Sep 2013 it as now broken in 2 places ,the plastic power on /off lever as broken & come out & the lid as broken off very bad since I placed the order from 5th SEP 2013 and broken on 16th/03/2014 a Tesco £5 Value Jug Kettle lasts longer than this.
Summary: I bought the kettle in December and have found it hugely disappointing. It leaks as you pour the hot water however gently one tilts it. I have had to buy a different kettle and would have returned it but felt I have left it too late.
Summary: Russell Hobbs is a well-respected brand name which is why I chose to buy the Futura Kettle that was delivered on Monday 041113. I bought it, because my in-use Grundig kettle possessed no lip-to-the-pourer that always resulted in messy dribblings over a kitchen work-surface. Can you imagine the idiocy of a kettle WITHOUT a spout or v-shaped lip?
Summary: What a pathetic design. This kettle dribbles boiling water all over the place!!!! It spills out over the SIDES of the spout, AND sometimes OVER THE RIM of the kettle. It leaves puddles on the worktop - or if you're not over a worktop, drips boiling water onto your feet. It also dribbles down the body of the kettle, where it dries on the aluminium surface to create dark, dirty looking stains.
Failed in 7 week, but replaced free by Russel Hobbs

Summary: Bought this to replace a similar preceding Russell Hobbs kettle, as we prefer not to have any plastic in contact with the boiling water. This means no water level indicator. It seemed a very good deal when we bought it for £15, mid December 2012. After receiving it, I immediately went to order another, only to find the price had already doubled, so decided against it.
Summary: I have had so many kettles I've lost count, always paid decent amounts, but never seem to get very long before they fail. This time thought I'd go for a cheaper option, it's ok, must say it boils quickly, but tends to make a hissing noise after, the only way to stop this is to move it on and of it's stand several times, we'll see how long this lasts!
Summary: After only 3 months of use the kettle not only stopped working it fused the plug socket. As I thought this was a trusted brand I, unfortunately, did not keep the box etc so have no means of returning it.
