Summary: After eight weeks of normal domestic usage the interior of the kettle around the lid rim is already incredibly rusty and corroded, but as it has inevitably been filled via the spout with the lid not being removed we obviously didn't notice this earlier. Evidently it's not fit for purpose and not what one would expect from a household brand name. I notice some previous reviewers mentioned a metallic taste, so there's no doubt where that comes from, then !
Summary: On the whole i'm very pleased with the kettle, it took quite a while to get rid of the newness taste. The only down side it makes quite a noise when you boil the water. i'm used to it now, it looks realy posh on my work top.
Summary: Had no problems with this and it has lasted well, coming up to three years. Far better than a very similar one from a competitors brand, that failed just after the guarantee expired. The finish has remained unblemished too, despite very regular use. Recommended.
Summary: I am forced to give this one star but that is one star too many. I have had this kettle 1 year and a week and the switch has broken off rendering it useless. Prior to this the kettle was leaking and from 3 months on the paint started pealing off. It looked great taking it out of the box but started deteriorating from day one. This was not a cheap kettle and I expected far more from a market leading brand.
