They're great. Very quick to boil

W. Wilczewski, Amazon
4 January 2015
  • Summary: Got two of these - one for home and one for the office. They're great. Very quick to boil, and we now have on-demand hot water. Nice thing is, doesn't look like it's actually impacting our energy usage. Very satisfied.

  • Summary: I bought this as a gift for my elderly mother. The directions could be better written but we are happy with the product.

Love it.

Christopher W. Rueber, Amazon

  • Summary: Works really well. I don't really like how much time it takes to boil and then settle for the temperature, though. I don't feel it warrants taking a full star off for that, but that's the only thing that I wish could be different about it. Frankly, I don't know how they'd make it happen! Either way, good solid product.

  • Summary: Definitely not what I was looking for. I wanted an adjustable temperature tea kettle that would heat water to select able temperatures and a bonus would be if I could set the time it turns on in the morning. This item boils the water first so you always have boiled water...So if you are looking for water under 212 degrees..

Tea Time!

Erick Grau "What me Worry?", Amazon
23 November 2014
  • Summary: Its a very efficient water boiler to always have it on with hot water at your service. We use it for instant hot water (Tea, hot chocolate and soup packets) I have no complaints except for one - I wish the inside tank was removable to easily discard and clean. Its uncomfortable to clean since you need the flap open... but overall I'm happy with the purchase.

disgusting black particles floating in cup

XL, Amazon
16 November 2014
  • Summary: every time when I pour the water out, disgusting black particles floating in cup. I open the machine and am pretty sure it wasn't calcium deposits. I believe I read some reviews earlier about the black particles, too bad I didn't take it seriously. will just have to throw it away as just now passed the return window. bummer...

  • Summary: I bought this for work. Now that hot water is at my finger tips I have more healthy green tea and have cut back on my coffee consumption. Co-workers love it too...for tea, hot cocoa, and oatmeal. Love the magnetic plug. One suggestion for minor design change is a more accurate water level window. When it's full or empty it looks the same in the window (the guide only measures up to 2L even though it's a 3L pot)...

  • Summary: Choose this over the more expensive Zojirushi 3L model. Has worked flawlessly for six months. Water takes about 20 minutes to reach suitable heat for tea, and about 30 minutes for full boil. Not many functions, but seriously folks, it's just hot water. No need to get touch screen multifunction fancy here.
