Summary: i have a Zojirushi rice cooker and bought this Panasonic hot water dispenser to replace another Zojirushi one. the Panasonic is every bit as good as, or better than the Zojirushi but quite a bit cheaper.
Summary: This thermo hot pot makes my life so much easier at work. It fits nicely on my desk and the hot water stays hot all day long. The only thing I don't like is that you have to unplug it to turn off... it doesn't have a shut off switch. It does unplug from the top, but still pointless too me.
Summary: I read the negative reviews but ordered this hot water pot anyway. It is exactly what I wanted because I drink a lot of hot and iced tea. I had an old Mr Cofee tea maker and while it heated up ok, it got dirty and had to be cleaned regularly.
Summary: Very convenient. Also love the 6 hour time-out feature. This helps save electricity. We pause it every night before we go to bed and still have hot water as soon as we wake up because it auto re-boils after 6 hours. We are completely satisfied.
Summary: Some reviewers have complained that the pot boils the water and then allows it to cool to the chosen temperature. Well, that's exactly what a tea pot *should* do. Boiling gets the oxygen and chlorine out of the water so that they don't negate the anti-oxidants in the tea.
Convenient hot water with better taste over time than built-in models

Summary: ***EDIT Jan 2014*** Amazon tells me I bought this pot in April 2011. As of Jan 2014, I have got two sets of rust spots in my Panasonic hot pot. I have always been very careful with it, but we did move house last year, and I noticed the rust after the move.
Summary: Purchased this Panasonic 2.3 Qt hot pot to replace a ten-yr old unit that required you to pump the hot water (old technology) which broke. This new one is far superior in quality and takes up less space. And, of course, you simply push one button to dispense the water.
Summary: We have been frequent users on the Panasonic brand of electric thermal hot pot, using them in the various countries we lived in for the last few years, namely Singapore, Japan, New Zealand, Thailand and now the USA. As usual, we decided to buy our "trusty brand" when we moved here via Amazon.
Summary: I had originally wanted a Zojirushi thermo pot because I grew up with one and love its quality. I changed my mind after seeing this Panasonic NC-EH22PC because of the price and balanced reviews. I don't regret my decision.
Summary: I will update if it breaks.. LoL (I hope not) Very convenient, and good for a house of 2-3 people, you need larger size if you have a bigger family. The lock/unlock function is a good design, so you won't get hurt if you press the button by accident. Update in May 2013: Still works great.
