Stainless steel- NOT... shiny metallic bottom flakes after 1-2 years of use (or sooner!)
26 June 2015
Summary: I'll make this short... purchased two of these back in Feb of 2013 (one for home & one for work). They really do work well at heating water and keeping it warm afterwards. I purchased these as I was under the impression that it was entirely a stainless steel container, well it's not.
Summary: We do like this kettle, it is the 3rd one we have bought in 4 years or so, and for the money I really can't complain about the product. We use it several times a day to make tea and we like the warmer button that does not come with most other kettles.
Summary: Just what I been looking for. Don't have to worry... automatic shut off when water evaporates....two press buttons one to boil other to keep warm or should I say keep hot. Does stay on for 12 hours as long as there is water in it. Easy to see fill line for water level. Short cord..
Summary: I have really enjoyed this kettle. I received it for Christmas three years ago. It has been on my counter, used consistently for tea and french press. It works well. I have never had problems with mold, leaking, or mineral deposits. I like the keep warm feature and the rocker switch on the handle.
Summary: I have 4 of these Kettles; kitchen, home office, work, lake house, . They are attractive and very efficient. Two of them now have a broken lid; repeated heating distorts a little plastic stub that secures the closed cover.
Summary: I bought this a year or so ago to replace my G.E, which I loved. It had lasted about 9 or 10 years, used every day. But, the new G.E.'s, I did not like, and , of course, my old model was no longer available. This took a little while for me to adapt to.
Summary: This kettle felt flimsy from the start, within two weeks it had rust spots, and the window where you read the water level is all fogged up. Therefor you don't know when you reach the max- I do not recommend cattle
Really horrendous customer service. Product prone to breaking

Summary: Please save yourself the trouble, and buy from a different manufacturer. This kettle broke (and blew out a fuse in our kitchen), after 9-10 months of use. Still under warranty, it should have been replaced by the manufacturer.
Summary: This was to replace my Braun kettle that went kaput. I find it even better than the Braun because it is a little lighter weight, has a nice "mouth opening" which makes it easy to fill, has a clear fill indicator which is easy to read, it turns smoothly on its base which is important to the...
