Summary: Note after 6 months of use: The interior bottom of the kettle is now full of rust. This is the second kettle we've had that rusted... The warranty they offer requires you to pay $10 shipping both for the new unit as well as to ship the old defective unit back.
Remove two little plastic pieces for a 100% STAINLESS interior

Summary: This is our second Cuisinart. First still going strong after 5 years. Out of the box you will see inside two small pieces of plastic. REMOVE THESE and you have a 100 PERCENT STAINLESS TEA KETTLE. These doodads have zero functionality - so no loss there.
Summary: I've had this product for about a half-year now and have been using it multiple times a day since I purchased it. The product was used but refurbished. I have found the surfaces to be more than usually resistant to staining and scaling, and the overall build-quality of the product is very high.
Summary: I have had this for about a month and while it took some time to get used to it, I really like it. Having just had another cheap brand burn out on me, following 2 others of a wellknown brand (which I will never buy again), I was prepared for more of the same while cautiously hopeful.
Reliable, last a long time, cleans easily, functional, looks good enough to be left out on the counter

Summary: I have had one of these for over 7 years, and my 'old' one is still running strong and looks great. I finally decided I wanted to make tea & french press coffee at work, so I bought another. Do these cost a bit more than other hot water kettles. Yes.
Great hard-working kettle, if you keep bottom dry!

Summary: This kettle was put in our Butler's pantry to prevent morning "cross-traffic" in the kitchen. It's design is sleek and quite attractive so that keeping it on the counter 24/7 is an option. As mentioned by other reviews, the stainless steel interior is the best feature.
Summary: I did a lot of research to find a no-plastic-inside kettle. This kettle is great for those of us who do not want plastic touching our hot water. There are two very small pieces of plastic inside that are easily removed and removing them does not affect the performance: a max water level indicator...
Nice kettle that is virtually all-stainless on the inside

Summary: I've been looking around at many, many electric kettles trying to find one that does not have any plastic on the inside. Finally I came across this particular model by Cuisinart and after reading such reviews about it decided to purchase it.
Summary: Maybe more than you want to know about my experiences with cordless kettles.... In 1995 we lived in New Zealand for 3 months, and just about every home had a cordless plastic kettle (with exposed heating coil) that was made there.
Summary: I bought one of these around 2002 and was fairly happy with it at first, using it 2 or 3 times daily while it lasted. It looks (in 2010) as if it has not changed since then. After about 18 months it became impossible to switch it on.
