Summary: Got this for the office and everyone loves it. With all the different temperature settings, everyone can boil water specific to their tea brewing needs. It also does soft beeps when it finishes boiling so you won't forget about it after turning it on and head back to your desk for work.
Broke while in warranty, returning was so frustrating and expensive that it's cheaper to just get something else.

Summary: I bought this in January 2014, it broke in November 2014. Fixing it would apparently cost me shipping plus a handling fee, and given how many other people have been having this issue, I'm not really interested in wasting more money on it just to have it break again.
Nice looking kettle, good design, but caution, the shell remains HOT a LONG time!

Summary: I love the overall design of the kettle. It is slightly slower @ boiling then a plastic kettle with an equivalent element, but only because of the stainless steel shell. The one thing that would have made this perfect, is the use of a metal that would provide a partial thermal break. The pot gets extremely hot, and there is no way to know it is still hot. Caution must be taken for a few hours following the boiling of water, or you could end up burning yourself.
Summary: I love this kettle! We make a lot of speciality teas and it is great to heat it up to the temperature you want, no more watching a kettle for the right water boil. We've had this over a year and no complaints yet!
Summary: So far so good... Very easy to use, perfect temperature (160 degrees) for camomille and other evening teas, beeping not too loud but still audible. Stylish blue light when on. I just wish it had a even lower temperature setting to prepare baby bottles :) (in this regard the KitchenAid would maybe have been a better choice). One of the few kettle that is known not to contain BPA! (together with KitchenAid, Bodum, Breville).
Summary: I have used this amazing kettle every day, multiple times a day since I bought it. It's so fast at heating the water, and I love the function of choosing your temperature. My only concern is that it does get a little bit too hot on the outside of the kettle, so be careful! I've had this for 2.5 years and it is still going strong, although the writing on the buttons has definitely worn off.
This model is working fine now, but only tiime will tell what it's ...

Summary: The kettle I have now is a replacement of one that quit after about 8 months of use. This model is working fine now, but only tiime will tell what it's life expectancy is. I like this kettle and hope it gives me reasonable life.
Summary: I purchased this kettle last year and I loved it dearly, (even buying one for my mother for Christmas, which oddly enough didn't work). Long story short, my love affair with this kettle is over, as it has ceased to work after only a year of ownership. The kettle has a 3-year warranty, so I do hope that Cuisinart stands behind their product, and hope that their customer service department is easy to work with.
Summary: Great kettle. We drink tea and coffee. Being able to heat water for my Aeropress to the desired temperature and then hit boil for my wife's tea is very convenient. Eliminates the thermometer and waiting for the water to cool from boiling. Also keeps the water at the right temp for 30 mins. The whole thing is well designed and thought out.
