Summary: This is a nice-looking and convenient kettle, but beware: it lasts less than two years with regular (3x daily) but careful use. First the paint peels off the labels, then the top begins to rust, and eventually the lid falls off.
Summary: As someone who appreciates a good cup of tea, this is an excellent purchase. Very pleased with every aspect of the kettle and as always, only time will tell if it is a worthy investment short or long term. I give five stars to the kettle with it's feature set and appearance, five stars to the ease transaction process, and one star to whoever decided that slapping a label on a product box and shipping it out is a good idea.
Summary: The good is extensively covered in five-star reviews - I'll record the rest. - Button labels got completely wiped off after about half a year. I am a heavy tea drinker - oolong, white, puer, all buttons. - The functioning became unpredictable after a year. When I pour a liter of water in, select the temperature and press the boil button, the temperature light blinks for a minute, then the kettle beeps 3 times and shuts off. (The manual says nothing about this condition.
Summary: I've been using this kettle pretty heavily for about three months now, and it has worked great. We use it for both loose leaf tea and french press coffee, and the temperature control settings have been perfect. The kettle itself is solid and well-built, and I especially like that it has a filter for catching any water build-up.
Summary: I didn't know heating water had to be this complicated. I tend to like simple things. But this is simple with a complex twist. Heat temperatures actually matters. I wouldn't have thought so before I bought this. But I love how simple and elegant this is, yet provides precise features that makes it worth while.
Summary: Fast and efficient kettle. It offers several temperature selections for different tea type, press coffee and any other option (instant soup, instant hot oatmeal, hot chocolate, etc.). Maintains the same temperature for an additional 30 minutes before turning itself off.
Summary: The kettle works great for boiling water and has a lot of different options, but unfortunately it didn't take long before the functionality was in question. After a month of constant use (around two to four boils a day), the kettle is refusing to shut itself off. After clearly getting to a boiling state, the kettle will continue its boiling process with no foreseeable end unless turned off manually.
