Summary: Yes, this looks nice on a kitchen counter, but at $260, it ought to, yes? Still, the question is: do you want this for your tea? As the owner of a tea company, I would say, "that depends." If you need it for the time saving and convenience, then it's fine.

Summary: Broken. Order this in August 2013, used sporadically, the basket just goes up and down now, says reset on the screen after awhile. Ultimately spent far more on this thing, than the tea that went in it. German engineering? Is that supposed to be a warning now.
