Summary: This is a fine kettle, and I really cannot ask for more from a kettle. If you need water exactly at 150 degrees, you won't want this. But if you intend to serve tea and don't want to waste energy with the stove or microwave, this is perfect.
Pros: Heats water quickly, easy to serve, looks good
Still beautiful and shiny inside out after 2+ years

Summary: I bought the Aroma AWK-115S Hot H20 X-Press 1-1/2-Liter Cordless Water Kettle about 2 years ago - today it's still going strong, which is more than can be said with many of today's appliances. My kettle sits on my Kitchen counter and I use it every day.
Summary: Review of Aroma Hot H20 X-Press Electric Water Kettle. (2/23/12) Excellent hot water 'kettle' only equalled by Newegg's fabulous, 2-bsns-day delivery. In addition to everything previously stated about this beauty of an under-appreciated little gem - it is very well made and features a gorgeous...
Summary: Lets see if it will last. My last electric kettle is more than 10 years old and it still works.
Pros: Decent price. Steel. Detachable base. No need to fiddle with cords. You do not get burnt when pouring hot water. Lid stays on tight, which is good. My old kettle would have loose lid, and every time I poured water the hot steam burned my hands. This kettle does not have this problem.
Summary: If you've never had an electric kettle, try it. Must have.
Pros: Feels solid. Pours without spilling. Odd filter for the spout that can be removed. Feels stable on the base and when you are holding it. Makes water hot eventually. Water elvel indicator works well.
Cons: Metal outside gets hotter then the plastic kettle this replaced.
