Summary: This is a fine kettle, and I really cannot ask for more from a kettle. If you need water exactly at 150 degrees, you won't want this. But if you intend to serve tea and don't want to waste energy with the stove or microwave, this is perfect.
Pros: Heats water quickly, easy to serve, looks good

Summary: The kettle worked well for the first few days. Then the problems started. The kettle stopped shutting itself off when water starts to boil; now we need to turn it off manually every time. It's a huge pain.
Summary: Lets see if it will last. My last electric kettle is more than 10 years old and it still works.
Pros: Decent price. Steel. Detachable base. No need to fiddle with cords. You do not get burnt when pouring hot water. Lid stays on tight, which is good. My old kettle would have loose lid, and every time I poured water the hot steam burned my hands. This kettle does not have this problem.
