Summary: This is my third or fourth juicer I've bought over the years. The others in the $30-40 dollar range just don't hold up for long. This one feels more powerful when I used it to juice large grapefruits. Hoping it stands up over time-so far I really like it.
Summary: When we first received the Waring PCJ218 Citrus Juicer, my wife was very impressed with it. When juicing the fruit (lemons and oranges), it made a high pitched whine that was somewhat annoying, but it did a good job juicing the fruit.
Summary: First use it was making a screeching noise, thought this was normal. Noise continued and got progressively worse until it completely stopped working. Only used it 8 times. Can't believe it only has a one month warranty. Not impressed!!! Do not recommend this juicer!!
Summary: This is the noisiest home appliance we own, and it won't be here long. Holes in the strainer are too small so most of the juice is lost unless you enlarge the strainer slots. But the big problem is noise, and it should come with some form of hearing protection for anyone using it or in the same...
Summary: We have fruit trees and needed a citrus juicer that could hold up to a lot of grapefruit and oranges. This juicer does the job. It took me a bit to figure out that with it running I could use a fork to gently move the pulp allowing the juice that it is holding to flow on through.
Beware teh LOUD Screeching sound that comes from this machine.

Summary: Just received my Juicer, opened it up and the first thing I noticed is that it is "stainless" only in color, the housing seems to be plastic. when I turned it on I was amazed at how loud it is, its louder than my blender at full speed.
Summary: The juicer actually works awesome. But unless you are deaf, I don't think you'll enjoy using it. I've worked in professional kitchens for ten years now, and this is the loudest, most annoying sound I think I've ever heard.
Summary: Has great power but the gears are plastic or nylon, after 2 months of normal use the gears stripped out and the unit is dead. Maybe the commercial model has better guts but this juicer is garbage, I've had 20 dollars units last me 2 years, this one 2 months..
Summary: Works well, easy to clean. Sometimes I do a lot of citrus in a day, like a box full. When I put the half citrus on this I have to hold it down and squeeze it in on the sides, kind of roll it over to the side etc to get all the juice out but we get there.
