Summary: After reading the many reviews that the motor burns out, I thought that a reputable business such as Philips surely would have rectified the problem before continuing to sell their defective product. As such I went ahead and ordered one. Only 3 uses later the motor burnt out.

Summary: We bought this juicer to replace the Philips HR1861. It was a little pricey, but we thought since we've been juicing for a couple of years now, we should upgrade to the newer model. The first Avance we had for about a couple of months. Then the motor stopped working and kept starting and stopping.
Summary: I should not of ignored other reviews about this products motor problem. The second week of use and a burning smell the third week and smoke pouring out as it continued it's premature self destruct. Nothing wrong with the product design and the daily use is easy, but the motor has serious issues.
