  • Excerpt: Very very disappointed that such an expensive item "burns out" a second time round and same failure as first time!? There must be a manufacturing error! I follow Jason Vale's recipe and juicer stopped working!?! Hoping argos or Philips can help...

good but big

Mat, Argos

  • Excerpt: very good juicer, slightly too large for those with a small kitchen or smaller amounts of storage and a little hard to clean. Performance is unquestionable and does the job very well. Good for a larger family who need the quantity it can produce or for those that take juicing seriously and use it on a daily basis. I would recommend the product as its very well built and produces high quality juices.

best juicer on the market

Rose ann, Argos

  • Excerpt: This juicer is really tops for juicing anything. Fruit and veggies just wiz through with ease, giving you lots of juice. Another good point would be the fact that if you should need a replacement part you can easily get this in the uk. The spare parts are also not going to break the bank they are very reasonably priced. I checked this out because my last juicer parts could only be bought in America. So I would highly recommend this Philips Juicer to anyone.

  • Excerpt: I am a daily juicer & purchased this as an upgrade to the previous Philips juicer (the motor also died). The juicer lasted 10 weeks then on Saturday as I was juicing smoke started to come from the juicer & an awful smell.I switched it off, smoke continued to come.I left it to cool then had to dismantle it & removes the chunks of fruit still in the feeder as well as the pulp - what a mess, argh.I was so disappointed as the juicer was so young. It looks the part however does...

Don't Be Misled

  • Excerpt: A good enough juicer. I bought this one because it stated QUITE CATEGORICALLY it was easy to clean. It is not one bit easier than my previous Philip's Juicer. It does the job of juicing well and the pulp is quite dry so I'm pleased with the overall job that it does. If you clean the juicer right away after juicing it's not that bad a job anyway - unless you compare it to cleaning the Nutribullet that is!!!

Great Juicer - But Has Motor Problems

Alphameeba, Argos
17 February 2015
  • Excerpt: THE best centrifugal juicer on the market today. It is everything Philips claim - highly efficient, easy to use and superbly designed. So far, so good. The problem is the motor. My juicer worked on a fairly regular basis for ten months but eventually it succumbed and my kitchen was filled with the smell of burned out electric motor. It was replaced under guarantee. The dead juicer had an 800w motor but the replacement (same model) has a 1000w motor.

After reading the many reviews that the motor burns out ...

Emma F., Amazon
31 December 2014
  • Summary: After reading the many reviews that the motor burns out, I thought that a reputable business such as Philips surely would have rectified the problem before continuing to sell their defective product. As such I went ahead and ordered one. Only 3 uses later the motor burnt out. Utterly disgraceful and I'm waiting for Philips to reply to me to understand how in this day and age, it is possible to keep selling...
