Summary: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this juicer!!! What a difference in flavor, effort, and clean up! I can't believe that I suffered a centrifugal juicer for SO long. Yes, as stated in other reviews, it juices leafy and hard veggies best, but even with pulpy fruits, it juices far better than the centrifugal! Pulp is super dry with leafies, and mostly dry with pulpies. You will get far more juice out of both types of fruits and vegetables.
Love it for what it is, a versatile juicer/food processor. Not the best of either, however.

Summary: I love this thing. It serves to juice well, as well as process food. Granted, a food processor would be faster, and offer more flexibility in terms of the degree to which food gets mashed up. But I have a tiny kitchen in an apartment and this serves both needs pretty well, rather than either need perfectly. It doesn't juice berries well at all. It juices other fruits and vegetables better and worse depending on a variety of characteristics.
Summary: What can I say - it made juicing fun! I have always used a centrifugal juicer and fought with the loud noise, involved cleaning and reduced type of things to juice. The Omega changed all this, and most importantly - it made juicing easy and tasty! (the latter is one of the most important aspects for me) Let's dissect it for a second. The Omega is a slow juicer. It will definitely take longer to do the same juice as with the centrifugal one. BUT, this is better!
Summary: I don't think it gets any better than this. Very dry pulp amazing juice. Does the juicy fruits also, just have to push it through with harder fruit or veggie. I had the 8006 and liked a lot, This does even a better job. Love the juice.
Summary: I don't have anything to compare to as this is my first and only juicer. Juices great, easy to clean and operate. Mostly vegetable juices. I just add store bought fruit juice if I need to sweeten it.
Summary: I have never used a juicer and had to do a lot of research to find this one. I am amazed at the ease and efficiency with which this juicer works. The pulp is very dry so I run things through only once and the feed chute has a wide diameter so there is minimal preparation. It is quiet with a very powerful motor. And the best for last, it is so easy to clean. I have had appliances that worded well but were a nightmare to clean; not this one.
Summary: I have had other juicers but typically ended up stopping my juicing. One reason was the pain of disassembling, clean-up, and reassembly. The last "vertical" juicer I had kept plugging up when doing fibrous vegetables like Kale. The NC800 is so much better. It is extremely easy to take apart and clean and never plugs; I can disassemble, clean, and reassemble in less than 2 minutes. It does leafy greens very well and it produces as much juice as the very expensive models.
Summary: I had researched many varieties of juicers (masticating and centrifugal) and decided on the masticating one from Omega - NC800HDR. I have since tried the Breville JE95XL (centrifugal) a friend let me have. I found the omega extracted more juice, was quieter and much easier to clean up than the Breville. I must say the Breville handles soft fruit better than the Omega and you can put larger fruits and veggies in without having to cut them up.
Summary: Awesome machine. I have the newest top of the line Breville juicer which did a great job for the most part but didn't do greens or micro-greens very well which was the main reason we purchased the Omega. I also had the twin gear Green Star but that was huge, heavy and difficult to clean. My husband and I had done the research for quite some time and felt that this was the best for the money that we wanted to spend. It has not let us down.
