Love it for what it is, a versatile juicer/food processor. Not the best of either, however.

Summary: I love this thing. It serves to juice well, as well as process food. Granted, a food processor would be faster, and offer more flexibility in terms of the degree to which food gets mashed up. But I have a tiny kitchen in an apartment and this serves both needs pretty well, rather than either need perfectly. It doesn't juice berries well at all. It juices other fruits and vegetables better and worse depending on a variety of characteristics.
Summary: What can I say - it made juicing fun! I have always used a centrifugal juicer and fought with the loud noise, involved cleaning and reduced type of things to juice. The Omega changed all this, and most importantly - it made juicing easy and tasty! (the latter is one of the most important aspects for me) Let's dissect it for a second. The Omega is a slow juicer. It will definitely take longer to do the same juice as with the centrifugal one. BUT, this is better!
Summary: I have never used a juicer and had to do a lot of research to find this one. I am amazed at the ease and efficiency with which this juicer works. The pulp is very dry so I run things through only once and the feed chute has a wide diameter so there is minimal preparation. It is quiet with a very powerful motor. And the best for last, it is so easy to clean. I have had appliances that worded well but were a nightmare to clean; not this one.
Summary: I have had other juicers but typically ended up stopping my juicing. One reason was the pain of disassembling, clean-up, and reassembly. The last "vertical" juicer I had kept plugging up when doing fibrous vegetables like Kale. The NC800 is so much better. It is extremely easy to take apart and clean and never plugs; I can disassemble, clean, and reassemble in less than 2 minutes. It does leafy greens very well and it produces as much juice as the very expensive models.
Summary: Awesome machine. I have the newest top of the line Breville juicer which did a great job for the most part but didn't do greens or micro-greens very well which was the main reason we purchased the Omega. I also had the twin gear Green Star but that was huge, heavy and difficult to clean. My husband and I had done the research for quite some time and felt that this was the best for the money that we wanted to spend. It has not let us down.
Summary: Had this for over a month now and I can say it does everything as advertised. We opted to go for this model vs. the fake metal chrome version, as that is really the only difference. Change your life and eat better with this Nutrition Center form Omega. After ready and researching hundreds of reviews and health blogs, this is the one you want to get.
Summary: I love it ( what else can I say ) I also have the older model 8404 and can say for a certainty that this new model beats the older model by 100% not that the 8004 is not worth it but this new model is a dream, the feeder opening is larger, the juice filter is stronger, and the pulp extractor gives you a more control and drier pulp
Summary: I spent hours upon hours trying to research the best slow juicer out there. After all, to most, this is not a small purchase. What I found was that all juicers are great. At least that's what everybody claims. I'm new to juicing. Trying to get healthier and shed a few pounds. So simplicity was important to me. I started off with the Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer B6000S. At first I liked it, but then I returned it, broken. It lasted two days (see my review for the Kuvings).
Summary: This was a review I put up for the Breville Juice Fountain Elite, but it pertains to the Omega as well... After a year in a half it no longer works... $300 dollars is a lot of money to spend for a year and a half of juicing. :-( I am updating this to tell another side of this story. We called Breville and because the unit was not that far out of warranty they are sending us a refurbished unit with a three month warranty at no cost.
Best bang for your buck, easy clean, large chute, wheatgrass, citrus, hard veggies.

Summary: This juicer is great! A huge step up from the 8006! With a wider chute and a regulator on the front that squeezes more juice out of the pulp. It has a slightly larger foot print that the 8006 but all of the pros make it worth the extra money. The neck on mine is actually breaking. I contacted Omega and they are extremely slow! I sent an email that it was braking and they asked me to send the part to them or a picture.
