Summary: I used Omega 1000 for about 10 years. I make juice for about 4 people every three days. In order to ake that juice you have to stop atleast six or seven times to remove the pulp. Also juicer gets unstable if you put soft stuff. So I tried Breville pulp ejector after reading the reviews. I was shocked how poorly it works. I have to stop more times to clean it as the ejector makes it a mess. Omega pulp ejector is also a poor one.
Summary: I like this juicer, but it could be improved. First, the information booklet is not well-written and it is difficult to read and figure out how to assemble and disassemble. Once you figure out how to do it, it is easy. Additionally, more recipes could have been included. Second, the spout is low and you have to find something of a low height to catch the juice.
Summary: I love this machine. I use it twice a day and have run a lot of fruit and vegetables through it. As with all juice extractors, it is a bit tedious to clean and it is now stained from all the carrot juice, but it continues to perform perfectly. It sits tight in place when operating. I would like a little tool of some sort to clean out the discharge spout. I like it so well I bought two of them for use at each of our homes.
Summary: I picked this up on a lightning deal for $129.99 and I am quite happy. I know there are other machines out there for a lot less money, but none of them have the 15 year warranty or performance of this machine, from what I can tell. We have used it a couple of times thus far, and operation is easy, with cleanup being more hassle but not bad.
Summary: I got this as a present for my mother. Since the first day she continuly uses it on a daily basis, it very easy to use, and extremely easy to clean. The only downside that my mom experience was the fact that the juicer cant not take in large items and must be cut down but it is strong enough to take down the toughest item. The pulp comes out very try. Though items: Whole Guava (many little seeds inside.
Summary: While I believe this machine has a good motor, there are several problems that they need to correct on it. Almost as soon as I got it, the plastic handle broke the tab that holds the juicer on. My friend got one on my recommendation and part the plastic handle broke on hers as well. The plastic seems brittle and not the quality it should be. The pulp ejector gets clogged frequently It gets "off balance" occasionally which is annoying.
Summary: I've tried just about every juicer there is for juicing Carrots.....I've even owned several very expensive models.....Norwalk Press, Nutrifaster N450, and the Ruby 2000. I've tried the Breville Juice Fountain, Samson 6 in 1, Omega 8003, etc., etc. The Omega 4000 has them all Beat....WY P.S. The feed chute is now large enough to handle all but the very largest Carrots.
Summary: This is my first juicer. Based on no expectations, here are my problems with this machine: chute is small, the juice shoots out of the top before you can even put your hand over it, the pulp is still wet, I kept getting chunks of fruit ejected, I had juice all over the counter instead of in the glass, it didn't give me the amount of juice that the recipe called for. I also thought the juice spout was low and you did not get a glass to catch the juice.
