    I went to an estate sale the other day and was so happy to find a Jack La Lanne's Power jucer for sale. It looked brand new as if it had never been used. Then this morning I tryed it out only to find out that the blade which threads on to the motor was stripped off the motor shaft. I would never go to the expense of 50 dollars to replace the motor to make it work. The threads are so small that I know it would break again a short time later. Read more

    This one purchase, of any before, has been a life changing diet tool. We have tried so many and they might work for a little while or not at all. We work hard, have no time, horrendous eating habits because of our work schedule. Sound familiar ?     I have seen multiple bad reviews on this product, and they are all on the same issue. The unit bogs down. Now, I have used the 4 gallon commercial juicers (sunkist brand, champion brand and warring brand) and this product. IF maintained and used as it was directed it will produce a better quality juice than the machines I used for my work. The main thing is what you add to the unit.     I loved this juicer it is powerful, handles large fruit apples whole no problem. Makes great juice collects all the pulp in the back for easy disposal and cleaning, by the way all juicers are messy and hard to clean!... I've had the power juicer for over a year. Took it out to use it this September it worked fine, when I took it apart to clean it the plastic screw that holds the blade broke off and the plate was cracked.
