Summary: Buyer beware, its a cheap price for a juicer, but you are getting what you pay for. I had bought another as a gift, but will now be promptly returning because dealing with this company was that painful. I will never buy another Hamilton Beach product.
Pros: Great juicer, powerful, minimal foam, juices anything.
Cons: Cheap motor, had one which lasted a year. Replaced with another, which died in less than 2 weeks. Warranty service is a joke, wanted me to pay for shipping and had to wait 10 "business days" to process. I have had products from other major brands that became defective and never had issues with warranty replacement including Bunn and Kitchen Aid. I only wish they made juicers.
Summary: It could come with a net/capture to place over the juice cup so that I could drink this without a load of foam. The foam really cuts down on the enjoyment factor, especially when 1/3rd of your drink is a foamy garden.
Pros: It worked the first time.
Cons: After the second use, the strainer device no longer sticks in place even when it feels 'firmly' fixed to the unit's base. Upon placing the bowl and the strainer in place and fastening the straps, as soon as I power the device the strainer comes loose making an incredible racket (significantly louder than when it works normally, which sounds like a Boeing 757 taking off), and is entirely unusable because it cannot collect juice while the strainer is skating around on t...
Summary: For the Price you can't beat it. It does what its supposed to do and is a great way to supplement an already healthy meal plan with micronutrients. From start to finish it takes me maybe 10-15mins tops to get from no Juice to 20ozs of Fresh juice and the machine is cleaned up and put away.
Pros: - Easy to Clean. - Makes good Juice, pulp is very dry when discarded. - Don't have to chop up much of the items going in. - Easy to Store. - allows some of the smaller pulp to go into the Juice which helps retain some of the fiber.
Cons: - A bit noisier then the average Blender, but not worth deducting points from, its powerful. - It does add some oxygen (due to the type of juice extraction it uses) to the juice so it's best to drink it shortly after making to avoid oxidation. again not deducting for that, because I knew what type of machine it was when I bought it.
Summary: Although this thing sounds like a small fighter jet when fully wound up, it's not THAT loud and it just lets me know it was built to last!
Pros: This machine cut my juicing time by at least half. The average sink disposal doesn't have this much horse power! The "Blow Hole" accepts small whole apples pears the largest carrots I can find and a bunch of celery not just one stalk! Easy to use, clean and looks good in my kitchen!
Summary: Very good juicer! I had it for a month and didn't have any problems with it( hopefully I won't in the future LOL). Make the juice really fast and takes just a couple of minutes to clean!!! It's a little overpriced oh Kohls website, I only got it here cause I had a gift card. Just do a little reserch on the price but juicer is great! I'm really pleased with my purchase!!!!!!
Summary: I over did my first use and tried to make 6 different juices. I clogged the strainer, but the directions don't say anything about how often to clean the strainer. When not clogged the strainer works great though. Splatters a little bit out the air vent but definitely gets the job done.
