Excerpt: The side of the popping plate split apart after 3 uses. I taped it together and used it for awhile then glued it together and used it for a while. Eventually both the plastic clips on the bottom of the handles that hold the popping plate to the base broke completely off.
Excerpt: I purchased my first Cuisinart EasyPop Popcorn Maker about 4 years ago and it was great and lasted 3 years until the turning mechanism gave out. My husband purchased a new one for me in February 2015 and I have returned the product 4 times since then.
Excerpt: Really slow, won't make a big batch no matter what they say, if you don't want oil you are out of luck, too complicated for what it does, flimsy plastic latch broke so now it won't work at all, too much clean-up. In short, avoid this product.
