Excerpt: My family and I have jumped on the health conscious bandwagon. We purchased the Breville too soon after reading several reviews online and saw that it was the best choice for us...at the time. However, after a few uses with the Breville juicer I have had a slight change of heart. The Breville juicer makes delicious juices but that's not because of the actual appliance. I can thank the delicious fruits and veggies for that. The pulp does not get disintegrated all the way.
Excerpt: This Breville juicer worked very well for our 10 day juice fast, and we have used it since for various juices. It handles a wide variety of fresh produce like a champ, including kale, spinach, apples, garlic... Anything we threw at it. The juice comes out pulp free, but can often accumulate a foam on top, depending on what you're juicing. I personally like the foam, but my husband wasn't a big fan.
Excerpt: I bought this juicer after my original, $20 juicer (a different brand) finally gave up. I had initially used a low end juicer just to find out if it was something that I would stick with. Once I knew that it was, and the other juicer went to appliance heaven, I started looking a buying a more reputable juicer. The Breville brand had many excellent juicers, some with really fantastic reviews, but unfortunately price tags that were pretty extravagant.
My 8 year old likes running it but isn't crazy about drinking the veggies.

Summary: If I were buying the juices in restaurants or co-ops, that I have made, in the month that I have had it, I would have easily spent $100. It takes up a bit of space and doesn't finely reduce kale like one with more power might, but as a starter juicer, I am completely satisfied. I am especially pleased to have another way to enjoy greens from my garden, though I find it really helpful to add a bit of fresh ginger and/or chunk of peeled lemon to get a more palatable green...
Excerpt: After all my other juicers failing on me I decided to pick up the Breville Juice Fountain Compact Juicer. What I like about this juicer is that you can put whole fruits and vegetables into the juicer without have to cut them or dice them before hand. It used to be so much work and so tedious to have to cut everything up before putting it in a juicer. This takes so much less time because it does all of that for me. I don't feel like making juice is such a hassle anymore.
Summary: This was one of the best purchases I have ever made. I bought this as a gift for my mom after we watched the documentary "Fat, Sick & nearly Dead". Ever since it arrived my mom has had a lot of fun coming up with her own concoctions and trying new fruits and veggies that she never would have eaten if it were served for a meal, but since it was juiced, the taste was masked by the natural sweetness of the fruits and vegetables, but she was getting so many vital...
Summary: 3.5 stars (if I could give a half-star). Several intelligent design features and it seems quality. However I wonder if the design or the speed (it's really fast) or some combination thereof causes it to sacrifice extraction efficiency. The pulp seems a bit wet, and I can get more juice just from it squeezing it with my hand. I also have a cheaper juicer with design features I like less, but its pulp seems significantly drier.
Summary: This juicer works and dvd has been a God send to us. They both not only work well but helps make it easier for us when we juice. My husband had doubts when I first brought up the idea of juicing, but after watching the dvd, he was excited. We juiced initially for two weeks without any additional food. We then juiced two meals a day and ate a healthy dinner. We loved the experience and what it did for our health.
