Summary: My mom purchased this juicer model well over 5 years ago. It sat dormant in the cupboard for awhile before I decided to give it a new home 4 years ago. I give it 5 stars because it gets used, on average, every day. The pulp is plenty (and dry!) and I have been pleasantly surprised. It's GREAT for a newbie juicer! The only downside is having to cut up vegetables into small chunks to fit through the chute. .... The prep time can be tedious but cleanup is a BREEZE.
Summary: love the results but if your going to stick with it and juice alot you may want to step it up a couple notches, This machine does work well but leaves to much behind, I have found myself useing the leftover in vegetable soups?
Summary: I like everything about this juicer except two. The fist thing is that it takes way too long to juice. Now I know that this isn't an "expensive" juicer and I didn't expect perfection. It juices really well, but to get the most juice from your fruit and veggies you have to go slow because of the small hole you have to put the food through. My second issue is that it is way too loud. I knew it would make some noise, but not as much as this one.
Summary: CRAP, when the first one started smoking the leaving black plastic flecks of the screen in the juice I thought it must be some kind of user error or I pushed too hard whatever, I bought SECOND one, the SAME EXACT THING, it started smoking, black flecks of plastic leached into the juice, this is not only crap BUT VERY DANGEROUS for fires or if someone EATS THE SHARP PLASTIC flecks. I used to like black and decker products but now I just wont go NEAR them.
Summary: Firstly, from a very basic standpoint, the juicer does its job. It extracts the juice from fruits and veggies. Slightly wetter pulp leftover than I may like, but sometimes I'll run it through a second time, depending on how much juice I feel I can get from it! The mouth is really small too. I have to cut everything up pretty small to get it in. Anyway, the cleaning of the unit is the issue for me!
