Never been so disappointed

Summary: Extremely disappointed with this product. Purchased this juicer to use mostly for holiday cookie recipe that requires 8-10 lemons to be juiced for frosting. My friend and I are both physically disabled and as we get older even the simplest daily tasks have become increasingly more difficult. Juicing those lemons by hand is virtually impossible. A parent had loaned us an electric juicer last year and this was the answer so we decided to purchase one.
Summary: I bought this product for my dad as a gift, since he makes grapefruit juice once a year. It stopped working literally after ONE HALF of a grapefruit! The gear stopped turning or something! He used it like a regular juicer thereafter, turning them by hand and letting the juice gather in the container, but I was extremely disappointed that my gift fell so incredibly flat for him!
Summary: I was making 5 gallons of lemonade and this was great. I was worried the motor would burn out, but it stayed strong. The container below is great because you don't have to stop every few minutes to empty it out. The top part is adjustable to decide how much pulp you want to go into the juice, but then some seeds could fall in. Overall, this was really great.
Not sure why this gets raves--the strainer does not come ...

Summary: Not sure why this gets raves--the strainer does not come apart, at least I cannot get it apart, so pulp gets stuck between the holes and cannot get completely clean. The small reamer is useless--I have to use the large one for limes to get all of the juice out--forget large grapefruit-what a mess. The unit twirls around if too much pressure is placed on the reamer--but lack of pressure does not render the juice completely. Very inexpensive--you get what you pay for.
Summary: I'm taking the time to write this review because I almost did not buy this after reading some negative reviews, and I'm so glad that I ignored them. This juicer is incredibly well designed. The parts assemble so easily, everything just clicks together, and it couldn't be any easier to clean; a quick rinse under the kitchen faucet, and it's done.
Summary: It's okay. It doesn't have as much power as I thought it would and I spent the extra money on this one for the kid to spin around the pulp to get the extra juice out but the lid is pointless because it doesn't press down on the top of the juicer to activate it. I don't know what the lid is for. It doesn't cover all the way when you're juicing to make sure nothing splatters either. Im thinking about returning it but returns are a nuisance.
Summary: Excellent transaction, and this juicer has some very nice features despite some shortcomings. I have one of these and also a Juiceman, which although it lacks the pulp selection and is not store-and-pour, the Juiceman JCJ4000S does juice faster and better than the Black & Decker CJ6302. However, the CJ6302 cost less. So, I think this Black & Decker is a very good value for the price paid and it is attractive, easy to clean, and easy to store.
