Summary: The speaker sounds great, but be warned, (I found) that you have to have the ipod within sight of the speaker or it drops the connection (therefore the sound). Sometimes simply standing between the devices can make it stop too!
Summary: I like the design and idea, The wireless connection wasnt always working, was interupted... probably due to wireless internet and house phones. the connector got annoying compared to whats out now.. the sound was good but wouldnt be great for a party!
Summary: After plenty of research into ipod docks and speakers I went for this one, mainly due to the flexibility of using the cradle detached from the main unit and reports of the sound quality. Arrived in double quick time with just standard delivery (ordered Tues evening and arrived Thursday morning). Really easy to set up, looks the part, and sound quality is excellent.
Summary: Bought several cheaper speakers and suffered with the lack of volume when I wanted some big sounds. The Yamaha was pricy at £80 or so I thought but the. Sound is awesome . Fantastic buy. At 90% the walls vibrate lol .

Summary: Amazon still have a habit of having reviews for the same product appear separately for different colours - I wish they wouldn't do it this way. Anyway, there's no need for me to repeat what's already been said by other people. What I will just point out is that, even though you control everything from the iPod, even putting the dock into standby, what it won't do is let the iPod turn itself off when it's finished playing an album, as it would do when using headphones, if...
