Summary: I didn't really get a chance to hear the sound quality. My intention was to use this device to put sound in every room. A different model I owned (now broken) allowed a external source to plug in to the device and send that sound to others rooms (such as a TV or non-Ipod MP3 player).
Summary: The Sony S-Air does not support the 3rd generatoin ipod Touch. This is why some users have no problem and some (like me) spend hours getting frustrated. I will be returning, Sony needs to update. If you just want to play your own library from an iPod, it is great and easy to use.
Summary: I purchased this item after talking to Sony via Chat. I was told this item could play steaming music like Pandora. I can not listen to Pandora at work which is why I purchased this item. I even made a copy of the chat just in case. I ordered the Sony system and it does not work with with Pandora.
Summary: I'd say this item was not as it was described. I thought I was going to be able to move these speakers wirelessly from room to room...nuh-uh! You have to plug each speaker in. That's not wireless. And there is a remote comtrol for each of the three parts.
Summary: I had high hopes for this product --- needed a way to put sound throughout my small house and functionality seemed great (the ability to use different modes in different rooms, ability to use remote with each of the speaker units to control the ipod, etc.
