Summary: Personally, I'm not an iPodperson, so I can't comment on the i-Elegance's performance with mobile devices made by companies with fruity names, but I can say that this device absolutely excels at filling the area of my desk or bedside with sound. I'm using the i-Elegance in a way most probably are not: as desktop speaker replacement.
Summary: I received this speaker a couple weeks ago, it came faster than i thought. The sounds is great, $35 for this thing is just worth it since i don't really have enough money to buy a "expensive" one. I wish it would be louder but that's ok because you get for what you paid.
Summary: I attach this speaker system to everything I own that has an Aux output such as any MP3 player,(when I listen to music, podcasts or audiobooks if I don't feel like using earbuds), a portable DVD player, laptop and radio. I attach my iPod Touch, containing some movies, to the speaker system and then attach it to my portable DVD player.
Summary: I've been using this for about 4 months. I love the fact that you can close the unit when not in use and it sits on the shelf unobtrusive. The battery life isn't very long, and when the batteries get low the sound is distorted until I plug it in. I thought I had blown the speakers. I will always have to carry spare batteries. For this reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars, that is a big flaw. A remote control would be nice, I see another model that has one but for $100 more.
Summary: This piece of junk works great as long as you don't need to use it for listening to anything. If batteries aren't brand new it cuts out if you turn the music up very loud at all. It just stops working. And by the way... if you leave the batteries in it IT WILL DRAIN THEM EVEN WHEN TURNED OFF! Incredible. What's the point of a battery operated device that uses up the batteries even when it's OFF? So you have to remove the batteries when you're not using it. That's handy.
Summary: Overall, I'm pretty happy with this. It does not charge my Ipod touch gen 3 (which I expected) but charges my husbands iphone. The sound is good, very clear, not tinny or distorted, but know if you get this that its not going to be super loud. I'd recommend use for the desk at work or maybe in a bedroom where you are not going to be blasting a favorite song. The volume just does not go that high. But it works fine for background music. Also, this thing is tiny!
Summary: This unit is small, looks good and sounds very good. I looked at and listened to a lot of various small speakers this is the best combination I've found for portability and price. Sounds very good.
Summary: Has decent sound especially with the surround button activated, not real loud but it is enough to enjoy the music on the patio. Going to take it to the Philippines and enjoy it at the many resorts that we are going to visit, it is small enough to take along and it charges the I-pod while I listen. Good product at a really fair price, I would highly recommend this to anyone. Also it will accept the I-pod touch with the protective covering on.

Summary: This is one of the most impressive products to hit the Hi-Fidelity sound industry (although it was not targeted for that market) in the past 50-80 years. For decades, the designers and reviewers of high-end loudspeakers have been touting Thiele/Small parameters as the only way to design and construct speakers and their relationship to a particular enclosure so they would faithfully reproduce bass and midrange tones.
