Summary: The sound quality of this system is just above average. For another $60.00 to $100.00 you could have a "much" better system by Sony.(rdpix700) The Pioneer system advertises separate bass and treble but this is not the case.If you have a keen sense of hearing or if you are an audiophile,THIS IS NOT THE SYSTEM FOR YOU. If this system sold for $100.00 with free shipping then it would be a very nice option for a gift or for a student entering College.
Summary: This dock has great sound, and the price was right. However, the packaging and a quick scan of the description make it look like it's Bluetooth compatible, and it isn't. You will need to purchase a separate adapter for around $100.00 in order to have Bluetooth with it. Also, the adapters are either very hard to find or have been discontinued. I finally found one, but this ended up being a high priced sound dock to have it the way we wanted it.
Summary: Docking stations have become an essential part of the home entertainment system. The Pioneer is a solid, substantially weighted system. Althought a bit longer than I would ultimately want, it is modern in design. The remote works beautifully and complements functionality with my Apple Classic 7th generation 160 GB Ipod. Sound quality: this is the most interesting part of my assessment.
